Why does my accumulated ultimate points keep resetting to zero?

Sometimes, I'll log off for 2 days only to find my Ultimate still at 400%... Other times, it'll reset back to zero between fights in Cyrodiil.

Is this normal, or is it another bug?

WHen you have been out of combat for about 5 minutes it will reset. So this is normal. Its 5 minutes ingame time, so if you log out after 1 min, you still got about 4 min when you log in again.

While this may be true about ultimate resetting from no combat (notice there has not been a single official response to the dozens of posts) it also absolutely positively resets from other causes too. Tonight I was fighting Septima Tharn, going in for the kill after dying 10 times or so and poof, my ultimate went from 283% to ZERO in the middle of the battle.

My ultimate drop had been eratic in Cyrodiil today. Sometimes it wouldn't even stay up for a minute. Not to mention all the not working standards people have been casting for the last couple of days.

Yeah it seems completely random.

It's screwed me a couple times when I've really needed it.

I believe after the patch there was an issue where if you had to resurrect after dying the act of pressing R (or whatever) resurrect was also acting as if you had pressed R for the ultimate.

I noticed a similar thing last night, where I hadn't used my ultimate at all in any battle but it kept dropping to 0, I think from me dying and reviving.
