First off I want to start out by saying the reason I am making these post is because for the most part I enjoy the game and I can see the potential. Its
definitely in its Vanilla stage but if you want people around years down the road to even refer to a Vanilla ESO then you have to keep progressing the game.
I am going to shoot straight with you, pvp sucks! Yea so the big open world pvp zone is neat but there is nothing that is pulling me in, making me want to go there which is a shame because in every other MMO i have played I spent hours pvping in battlegrounds. I want more smale scale battles and 1 vs 1 encounters so that I can test my skill as a player, not huge zerg feast pvp that had nothing at all to do with skill and everything to do with who has the highest numbers and better ground composition.
You need battlegrounds!! That is just a fact. I would do what World of Warcraft did and make level cap BGs as well as low level BGs and not follow Star Wars: The Old Republic's stupid one where all levels were together with a buff. Why, I will tell you why because people like to build their characters towards player versus player and when you add low level to the mix it dumbs down the experience for the high levels and is unfair for the low levels.
I know you don't want to balance the game around small scale pvp or 1 vs 1 pvp and to that I have to say tough titty! You don't get to decide what is fun and what is not fun, we the players decide that and if you want to keep us around you need to make this game more fun by adding more pvp content. another suggestion is do what rift did and make skills and talents designed exclusively for pvp.I know their are currently ability's that are pvp oriented but none of them seem to justify replacing any of my current ones on my hotbar. Makes something that someone could not turn down!
Come on Zenimax I am counting on you to deliver! I have been waiting for an MMO for years to draw me back in since WOW burnt me out and this one has potential. However Star Wars had it as well until I got to level 50 and had nothing to do. The game pretty much made me quit because I really didn't want to. I love Star Wars but when you make an MMO as cluelessly as Bioware did then it forces me out! With that said I am still holding strong with ESO so far but just thought I should point out the obvious before its to late.
