A request that ZoS drastically improve the options available to guild leaders to enable them to restrict the withdrawals that members are able to make. Currently, the 'all or nothing' option leaves the guild wide open to abuse of its bank, as people can completely strip it. The alternative, which it appears that many adopt, is to completely restrict access, giving members little incentive to actually contribute to the bank in the first place. Something in between this would be appropriate, giving a damage limitation option.
One of my guild leaders has taken the risk of opening the bank, quite brave in that it is an informal trade guild, with no application policy. Risks to PVE/PVP/RP guilds are arguably less, because there is at least some social interaction. 'Trial periods' are also used by some, but frankly if you are unfortunate enough to recruit someone who has no qualms about emptying your bank, a wait of a couple of weeks will not deter them.
Thus far, we have had one person who tried to strip the bank completely, but luckily it was spotted and he was booted before everything disappeared. To be honest we consider ourselves lucky thus far, but unless the options are improved, I have little doubt that a repetition will occur. It really beggars belief that such a basic guild bank system exists in a game that is supposedly 'AAA'.
ZoS Ambassadors please do not bother responding to me because I have you on ignore. Your input is neither valued or welcomed.
