Riften - Expansion Project?

During my travels, I found that Riften has become the most convenient place to be my 'home base'.

The crafting stations are all nearby each other and they are all steps away from the bank. I can craft, deconstruct, sell, manage my inventory, and use the bank all with relative ease within Riften.

It is clear however, that THOUSANDS of other players have decided to make Riften their 'home base' as well. This included players of ALL levels, all the way up to Vet12. Who can blame them! Riften is THE most user-friendly city to work out of.

Beyond that, zone chat is a hot-bed for sales, trading, questions, and general conversation involving the game and subject not involving the game. Riften has become a veritable metropolis.

It would seem appropriate that Riften should actually begin expansion. Spreading out beyond it's small borders, adding housing, buildings, commerce, and new businesses.

The first order of business should be to expand the size of the bank. Poor Felora Rethan, the LONE banker in Rethan Holdings (Riften's ONLY bank) needs some business associates. At any point in time during the day one can walk into the bank and see 30+ players standing around doing their banking business. I can only imagine how sleep-deprived Felora is. She needs help! She needs to add a second floor to accommodate all of the business she receives and to hire a few more people to handle transactions.

Secondly, the alchemist's shop needs to be relocated from BELOW the docks to somewhere more easily accessible. With the amount of traffic that Riften sees on an HOURLY basis, Scent of Serenity could be making money hand over fist if it were to relocate somewhere else, preferably along the the main streets.

With so much business going on in Riften now, it's about time that the burnt out buildings are cleared away and new shops built. It's clear that despite the recent problems within Riften, the destroyed remains of buildings aren't stopping people from traveling and even remaining in Riften. It's time the local government spruced things up to make the city even more attractive to investors.

These are just a few suggestions. Riften can become so much more (and will be...)

So what do you say Zenimax? Expand Riften! More shops! More NPCs! Bigger Bank!

oh dear god no. Then we'll NEVER be able to log in during prime time!

How about they make other cities user friendly instead?
