Biting Jabs fix is soo simple

DaxxDeathStrike
DaxxDeathStrike
Soul Shriven
The problem was that ppl with no skill and also bots were just casting this skill and nothing else and having a lot of success.

The solution is simple no need to adjust the cost of the skill which makes the skill overall less powerful. No need to add internal cooldown which again makes the skill less powerful.

The obvious solution is to make it give a debuff everytime its cast that makes the next cast cost more unless another skill is used next. If another skill is used it goes back to its default cost. This would not decrease the value of the skill in any way except for when you faceroll spam it which is what they are trying to avoid.

This same idea can be applied to other skills that could be considered abused by spamming such as impulse and sorc teleport.

If you wanna punish ppl who are spamming skills do just that dont punish everyone else that was using the skill reasonably. Biting Jabs was not overpowered when ppl cast it once every 5 secs it was the people who cast it 5 times in a row that ruined the skill for everyone else

You are a little late with this suggestion as this cost increase is what is planned. Still sucks. Still a nerf on a class that is underpowered as it is. And for 100% the wrong reason; to make the hackers life harder. Yeah, right. Like that is going to work.

my suggestion was only a cost increase on additional casts in a row not in general i think the cost should stay exactly as it is for everyone that is not spamming it.

I think overall cost increase is a bad move on their part as it punishes all templars not just the ones abusing the skill

The issue is Zenimax. Even with hiring experienced MMO devs (maybe cause of it), they seem unable to handle the management of an MMO. The bot farming is a serious issue (particularly for lower level players), but the way they handle it, and the way they're handling class adjustments screams of cluelessness/incompetence.

They use sledgehammers where they should be using a silversmith's hammer. They should be crafting something by making fine-tooth adjustments, not crushing them and hoping somethings still intact in the debris.

We're not first choice for tanking trials (leaderboard runs), we're now third choice for healing (behind sorcs and NBs), and we're last on DPS. We're also not balanced for PvP, and been pigeon holed toward light-armor healer/mages (due to lack of resource management abilities). Probably why I haven't seen a single Templar ability on my death recap screen in PvP.
