Werewolf as a toggle would certainly clear up some issues I've been having. Perhaps someone could shed some light on these issues,

I have no idea how long my werewolf form will last. Is there a timer or an addon that will add a countdown timer so I know how long I have left in form?

How much time is added for each feeding? Without a timer, I'm not sure. I've had situations where I'll finish feeding and then come out of form immediately after, which leads me to believe that sometimes it adds no time at all.

Why can I only feed on some bodies? Is there a feeding timer I'm not aware of?

How come when 2 or more bodies are close together, I can only feed on one most of the time. The other becomes unresponsive even if it was glowing beforehand

At any rate, I'm new to wolf form so these issues have been bothering me. A toggle as suggested by the OP would clear up all these things so I'm all for it as long as it can be balanced.

There is an indicator in the game. It's a little bar under the mana bar that appears while you're in werewolf form.

I think, and I could be wrong, that there are some diminishing returns on the feeding. For example, first time adds ten seconds, second adds seven, third adds four, etc. I don't know the actual numbers on it. You can see that indicator bar I mentioned fill after you feed though.

I strongly suspect there is a hidden cooldown on it.

Could be related to the cooldown timer, if it exists. Or the bodies all count as being fed on at once.

Unfortunately, for a toggle to be balanced, the damage in werewolf form would have to be dramatically reduced. If the damage is reduced, the transformation becomes worthless, as it prevents you from using all your other skills. So for it to even have a chance at becoming a toggle, the entire structure of the werewolf skill line would essentially have to be re-engineered.

What about drastically reduce the tranformation cost ? Like 50/100 ultimate point ?

I'd be on board with the idea of making it work like a toggle/cost less. How it could work: The more Ultimate you have the longer you can stay in the form. So you can activate it with only 100 ultimate, but it will only last 10 seconds, 1000 ultimate 100 seconds: just as an example.
