Eh, I am really questioning people who complain about the difficulty though. I did die a few times while I was still able to play the patch but only died due to the choppy FPS and my computer freezing. If you're losing with no technical problems then I guess you are just bad.ThatArgonianGuy wrote: »Try questing in vet rank zones (around vet rank 5) and tell me there is not a problem.

That aside...since patch the game loads quicker, runs smoother...looks better...you even made my armor prettier...
Keep it up zenimax and you might get a star sticker!

Because your experience alone can account for everyone else ...
Just because you don't have a problem doesn't mean there isn't one.

"I do use 1h and shield" well that is your problem. Using a 1hand and shield is not supposed to give you tons of survivability and DPS at the same time. All they did was make it so you couldn't exploit the damage from bash. If you are dying it is obvious you were never a good player to begin with because your survival depended on an exploit.ThatArgonianGuy wrote: »Brittany_Joy wrote: »Eh, I am really questioning people who complain about the difficulty though. Bad? I soloed pretty much everything from level 1 to Vet Rank 4. I log on to do some questing today and and I get destroyed by run-of-the-mill skeletons and wolves. Something is wrong here. I do use 1h and shield, but I wasn't much of a bash spammer. My attacks just simply don't do enough damage anymore. Two wolves give me trouble now. Either they need to buff VR damage output or put the enemies back to how they were.

I am a veteran rank nightblade who is also a werewolf, which is the weakest combination in game. Yet I can still survive the new, harder enemies 'cause I use block, dodge, and use heavy attacks while the enemies are off-balance.

It shouldn't be a problem! You should be able to use a weapon class and not worry about not being able to do enough damage while questing. And did you not just hear me say, I DID NOT SPAM BASH MUCH AT ALL!
I'm VR2 and I'm not having any problems killing any mob and they now give more exp to boot!

L2P, all I can say. Seems like you depend on FOTM builds then actual skill. Pick up a good build and learn to dodge, CC break, block, and interrupt. 1 Hand and shield is not supposed to do damage because the trade off is damage for defense. You have the defense but it won't matter if you don't know what to do with it! Just dodge and CC the enemies and take advantage of stealth attacks. What class are you? Do you depend on AoE? if so then AoE damage got nerfed because it is supposed to be single target DPS>AoE damage.
Hmm seems like you don't have the common DK scrub build. So something must be wrong. I didn't get a chance to test all of it because of the technical issues most of the peeps on support forum are trying to fix yet no ZoS employee responded to a single post since this morning.ThatArgonianGuy wrote: »Brittany_Joy wrote: »ThatArgonianGuy wrote: »Brittany_Joy wrote: »"I do use 1h and shield" well that is your problem. I'm a DK, I use mostly single target damage, and my only AoE ability was dark talons to immobilize enemies. Go play the single player TES games and tell me 1h and shield isn't supposed to do damage. My class and weapon abilities just don't do enough damage to VR enemies now. Regular attacks don't do enough damage either. I play Skyrim on master and that was still too easy for me. If a random trash enemy is harder to defeat than Molag Bal something is wrong.
