I was in a quest instance/dungeon & was unable to interact with the exit upon completion. I tried reloadui, relog, rebooted the game. Finally I took off my gear & used
/stuck (which actually just respawned me inside the instance, but at least the exit worked). I hit the buttons fast but I noticed it charged me gold. There was a warning box but I hit it too fast.

Next time the game craps out on me I'll try teleporting to a guildie (does that cost now too?).

I really don't understand why we're being punished for faulty game mechanics. If I send in a bug report or ask a GM for help, they tell me to use the above options next time.
