Suggestions to counter Gold-spammers ingame

icewolfeb17_ESO
Hi,

Don't know if there's someone already suggested this but here's anyway some ideas how to limit the gold spammers ingame:

So far I've seen 4 types of approaches.
1. Shouting in chat
2. Email (in game mail)
3. Guild invites
4. Tells

Here's my solutions for these:

1. Get some players and give them "sheriff" rights. Meaning that they can "silence" a player in chat (and then the actual offence will be looked in to by ESO Support for permanent bans). Of course - abusing these "sheriff" rights would also lead to severe punishments - there need to be strict lines when you can use them and also some interview for the people wishing to be "sheriff".
2. Disable the possibility to send email to anyone else, except guild members and members on your contact list.
3. Make an setting "allow guild invites" and make it "unchecked" by default
4. Same as 2. - disable the possibility to send Tell to anyone except guild members and members on your contact list.

The solutions on steps 2-4 will of course create some problems, specially for joining guild and so on. But I think that most of the gamers will gladly have the little issue on that, rather than needing to block all gold spammers in chat, clean your email everytime you log in (and block the senders, which is actually done unnecessarily laborous to do) and ignore all the guild invites/tells you get.

Zen will never risk abuse from "Sheriff's" The damage they could do before being caught and punished could be too immense and the loss of paying customers

    3. Disable the possibility to send email to anyone else, except guild members and members on your contact list.

That means removing something from the game enjoyed by all because of bots? That would be like killing the internet in your home because one kid is absuing it.

    5. Make an setting "allow guild invites" and make it "unchecked" by default

Sure why not, works for me .. and add a big Tool Tip so people know about it

    Same reply to 2

The problem is beaten to death by all of us and we have a zillion reasons, just as Zenimax is probably ripping their hair out trying figure out a way to not upset everyone by making a change

One change that would make everyone happy except farmers, cut pricing on basic horse and repairs. It will help with some of the need for gold, but certainly isn't a solution
Another if it is possible technology wise, randomize nodes and if possible move bosses around in their rooms a bit
