Are YOU serious ESO

floorconub17_ESO
Guys and Gals and gamers in general.

Troll me if you want but this has got to change. When you have player(s) (not calling you out for grinding to achieve highest ranking in the game) being able to DESTROY 3 to 10 times their opposition with out nary a scratch some is really wrong with game play. I do not mind losing a fight to superiors numbers, superior skills or even to a lower level player (come on, you know its happened) but to be destroyed by a gang of 8 to 15 players when attacked by far superior numbers and lose, some is drastically wrong with the game play and or its mechanics

Just today I saw a "Emperor" get pulled up into OUR keep, even though we had multiple weapons targeting him and no less than 30 players "trying?" to kill him it did not work at first, after 2 to 3 mins we finally killed him. Seriously I had a ballista on him the whole time. One of many in our keep trained on him, I'm sure if he reads the forums he knows (fire) who he is, is he really someone that cant die or has magical powers over 20 to 40 players?? Really?? Is this what ESO wants WvW to be about?
Come on ESO, look at what you HAVE created, versus what you WANT to create No one wants to die to someone (ANYONE) that can't or won't die.

Love the game but something is really wrong at VR10 rankings versus other players.

Emperors are overpowered by design. The balancing act is that there is only one in any given campaign.

Well I faced a non emperor 1h shield guy taht found a way to somehow skip the bash animation and, i am not kidding, bash 2-3 times in 1 sec. It created a bit of chat on AD side (wabbajack) suggesting he used a macro or something. But no, even macro cant skip animations, and my health went down from 2500ish to 0 in not more than 3 secs.

People will always find ways/builds to exploit. Such is the complex nature of the game. I guess we'll just have to live with it

Emperors are supposed to be able to do that sort of thing if they know what they're doing. But they can also be terrible. I killed an templar Emperor today in about 4 seconds with my opening burst rotation alone... Then I died twice to some bash spammer.

Templar and nightblade emperors are not that much different from the regular versions of these classes. Sorcs are better due to the ability to blink over the horizon. It's actually 1 class that coupeled with emperorship can wipe out 8-10 incompetent zerglings at once.

This happened to me 3-4 times the other day, and I just kept dying. I couldn't do anything to stop them, and my NB shadow cloak (the one that's supposed to make me 100% invisible) worked maybe once out of the ten times I smashed the button each time I got destroyed.
They were probably a better player than me and I'm not mad about getting killed, but I am mad about not being able to fight back at all.

@cisadanepajsuxrwb17_ESO Happened to me too from banner/talons. Not sure which but I got hit for 303(7x) That is 7 hits for 303 damage all in one second (2121dmg total)...from 1 DKs opening attack.

    ______
This is what, so called, elite players do, they find every exploit in the game and use it, and get away with it. When it's finally fixed and they can't exploit and have to rely on their own talent, which never developed underneath all the easymoding they rage quit to the next game to exploit.

There is definitely something going on and people need to be banned.

Sounds like there's something very RIGHT with the gameplay and/or its mechanics.

Zergs of unskilled players should get mauled by smaller groups of more skilled and coordinated players.

Instead of whining about it, try and figure out how they beat you. They're probably using better builds, better tactics, and have better communication.

Seriously, if you aren't in VOIP with a group and you die to a group, you probably just got out played.

As for Emperor, Emperors are supposed to be OP. That's the entire point.

The problem isnt smaller coordinated groups taking out bigger random zergs.
The problem is, there is no need for coordination.

This is no mezzing certain parts of the zerg and spiking single targets, this is just running in there headless, bashing 2-3 buttons without any coordination.

We took out the emporer quite often, but if he surprises you, or when fighting inside small rooms e.g flagroom of outpost, you can be coordinated still half of the people die if they arent sorcs.

8 players with party healing abilities that also do damage can kill 30 people. Vampires in particular come to mind, but there are others in the game.

    8 people... non-emperor... can kill 30 people.

Particularly when you start getting into AoE, heals, and siege.

This isn't about fairness and balance... your side could take the exact same builds... it is about paying attention, and responding accordingly to enemy tactics.

Working together, and communicating to stay alive and pull out of traps like that.

This isn't about fairness and balance... your side could take the exact same CLASSES. it is about rolling DK and some others who can heal the DKs (if needed, which isnt the case very often)

    ...
    fixed it for you.

Just compare Burning Talons with Shattering Prison and you know what I mean

All you did was convince me the game is working fine.

Zerging is not the best way to win and having superior numbers should never equate to winning.

You either have never played a PvP game before this or you are really not well versed on the balanced scheme between Organized Groups and Zergs.

If 8-15 players with the same abilities YOUR people get beat 50.

You are really blaming the Developers for that?

I blame you for not teaching yourself accountability or trying to figure out a way to get better instead of crying here for attention.

One OP class + emperor = bad time for the other team.
