This simple guide applies both win11 & win10 laptop folks. Reduce hardware temps, save power all while playing nice.
-Increase your screen brightness to max %30.
-In game graphics: texture quality to low or mid.
-Run ESO with efficient AMD built in GPUs and not power hungry NVIDIA RTX 9999 overpriced garbage.
-Use tools like ghelper (from github) for your laptop to limit APU/CPU processor power. Works perfectly fine on my end! (30fps)
-Use APU Temp Limit to throttle power meaning auto lower temps when it reaches to 75c-80c or any number you want (again, ghelper allows to do that)
-Limit FPS to 30 if your comfortable with tools like RTSS or MSI Afterburner. (This one is crucial to save power & reduce APU temps)
-Switch to Windows Balanced Power Plan from advanced power settings (control panel use for that, new Settings are garbage)
-Play with fan curves for your liking (your laptop should come with proper software for these settings, if not, use ghelper if your on Asus branding laptop)
-Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations thing. Right click game exe's,properties, compatibility, check related checkbox.
-Elevate your laptop a little, sometimes this alone do wonders in cooling. Use anything such as books BUT make sure vents ain't blocked with your book placement. Most laptops vents left and right sides but there is also ones under neath, properly fit your books to not cover the vents. Look for templates on web for your laptop where is vents are and so on.
-Turn off unneeded in game graphics settings such as Shadows Quality to lowest. Subpixels Quality alone gives you much needed frame per seconds in mid or low.
-Window quality to 1600x900 or even lower, VSYNC to on, Get a cheap Crucial/Kingston external SSD from Amazon to load faster.
-Get a affordable headphones 3.5mm jack/USB for better sound quality, brands like HP,Razer offers entry level of products.
Enjoy with a great game still looks okay with reduced thermals and thus, longer lifespan!
