Worm Cult Correspondence post quest location on the PTS.

Dungeon Delver Documents - Seekxilts' Journal

If anyone has been struggling to find this, note that you will need two people in order to get into the "Hidden Entrance" of Naj-Caldeesh.

Both of you have to stand on a pressure plates in either corner of the below room in order for the door to open. The book can then be found in the corridor.

Violet Vvardvark Tavern Receipt

I was playing through the new Sheogorath quest line with my wife last night and we were ground and both on the quest "A Taste of the Finer Things". In the Curd Cave Cheesery you are instructed to "picked up a crumpled note" which gives this Lorebook. Unfortunately, if one player picks it up and backs out of the pop-up before the other player interacts with the Lorebook, then the quest auto-progresses for both players and the other player is unable to receive credit for the Lorebook.

I had hoped upon finishing the quest itself that the Lorebook might be outside somewhere, but to no avail that I could find. I also searched for it again when you go back into the Curd Cave Cheesery later in the quest chain and it wasn't available either.

I think this behavior could also impact the "Othuk's Note" Lorebook in the quest "A Madcap Mystery", but I didn't want to test it on either of our accounts because we're usually extremely careful about this sort of thing. When we got to Othuk's Note, I opened it first, stayed on the screen, and then my wife opened it, and we both received credit.

Don't know of differences between console and pc, for pc i can say...

Apologies for the shameless bump here. Mostly doing so to ask a follow-up which is: Is this behavior expected? My wife and I quest together somewhat infrequently (I like to go in order, she likes to explore wherever), but I can't recall this ever happening before? Just trying to see the likelihood that my character is just busted forever now. Since this is a "Quest" Lorebook—the assumption being everyone had to have picked it up to continue the quest—my worry is that it'll be overlooked or somehow not possible to include like a normal post-quest one would.

This behavior is - sadly - expected by experience. In the past, this issue occurs every now and then, although it was promised (at least one time), that ZOS will avoid it in the future.
Personally it is the main reason for me to play quests alone, at least for the first go - in group with others only after that.
Your workaround with let staying the reading screen open till other party members also hitting it, sounds as a good idea to me. Never tried that on my own. An other option to avoid the missing book problem would be, not to complete a quest and cancel it instead.
I mean, in the latest past they fixed a lot of problematic eidetic memory entries and placed a lot of post quest locations for many books, writs, papers, whatever... but they are still far away from cover them all.
In my eyes it is a shame for a game, which do have "scrolls" in its name.
But especially in case of the latest Sheo and Thieves quests i still have hope, that they give us post quest locations in time.
We will see.

Afraid it's not. Don't know of a post quest loca. Not yet at least.

Didn't play ToT for a while, afaik the higher chance is given only in a sense of getting higher tier coffers.
While in the end it is totally random, the chances raising, maybe just slightly, with the color of the reward coffer from green, blue and violet to yellow.
But i'm not sure, if the efford is worth it. Personally i got the clues mostly out of Kishkas violet purses received through 3 victorys over npc daylies, iirc. Seemed to be the easiest way to me.
And, based on my experiences with time related good or bad rng spots, i hoard one or two dozen coffers (violet and blue ones, normally). Then, after a login, i opened up to 3 of them - if some rare drop has shown up (or a clue of course) i did open more (otherwise not until the next login), because chances were higher then, to got a second clue for example. My personal strategy.

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. Yeah, it's bizarre to have quest step notes not have some sort of post-quest location for exactly this reason. Really puts a damper on questing together. Hopefully though they'll all be resolved. One day I'd like to have full completion on this character.
