Complete 8 Daggerfall Thieves Guild Quests Seasonal Tome Challenge stuck at 7/8

I completed "The Codex Caper" and it's stuck at 7/8. I tried doing all the dailies and then searched for ANYONE else having this problem, but that lead to LOADS of posts about "Complete 8 Thieves Guild Finder Quests" which seems like a more common bug. I did find a single Reddit post about something else but there was a comment about what I was looking for -

Yes, it's been a while since that comment because I was trying to resolve this through the in-game Help menu - guess how that went.
I'll complete the Tomes without this 1k tome points but it would still be cool if it were fixed.

I'm guessing that the OP has completed the 7 quests, because they said the Seasonal Challenge is "stuck" at 7/8 (not 1/8).

The 8th quest is sort of a special "follow-up" quest, similar to how there used to be an additional quest at the end of a zone DLC questline if you'd also completed the Chapter questline from the same "year-long story arc." In this case, the 8th quest is available only if you've completed the original Thieves Guild questline in Hew's Bane. If you haven't done that questline yet, it shouldn't take very long to go do it now, after which you should be able to return to the Daggerfall Outlaws Refuge to get the 8th quest needed to complete the Seasonal Challenge.

It's mix-n-match as you prefer: one character does all eight story quests, eight characters do "The Codex Caper", something in between... as long as it totals to eight. Note "story quests" and not "dailies;" different things.

SeaGtGruff is correct, I missed Captain Sansonne hanging out in the Daggerfall Thieves Guild. He offers the follow up quest I was missing. Thank you!
