Meh. 120 seems hyperbolic. You need a minimum of three keys to progress through each of the wings. There are currently three wings, so minimum nine keys. Most other stuff in the wings that need keys will be Nowhere Chests, roughly 3-5 chests per run, but you might find a Jackpot Room and that will eat up four or five keys on its own. Plus you're probably going to pick up a couple or three keys as you go through. If there is a boss in there that needs to be defeated, they have been dropping a key for me each time I beat them. Not quite a wash, but cuts down the key farming between runs.

Figure bringing in 10 keys if you're solo and you're well set for a run through one wing. You might be a key or two short if you get several chests AND a Jackpot Room and want to open everything.

Do you get nowhere keys dropping from favours on alternate characters who haven't done the glenumbra thieves guild questline, if you have one character that you have already completed it on?

Judging it by the recent grinds, I'm guessing: Really, really not.

I don't understand their sudden focus on gatekeeping content. Doesn't make for feels-good gameplay.
