I really don't think the recent change to Pummeling Bone Goliath was necessary.
Double Bash Necromancer was one of the most enjoyable rotations Necromancer has had in a long time. It had a unique gameplay loop that rewarded good timing and execution, and it was genuinely fun to play. Increasing the Bash cooldown from 333ms to 1 second effectively removes that playstyle.
It feels like the skill was nerfed simply because some players struggled to execute Double Bash properly. I don't think a fun and mechanically interesting playstyle should be removed just because it has a higher skill floor. If anything, mastering the rotation should be rewarded.
Instead of heavily nerfing Pummeling Bone Goliath, I think Glacial Colossus could be buffed to provide an alternative for players who don't want to play Double Bash.
For example, Glacial Colossus could apply a debuff similar to Cephaliarch's Flail, causing enemies hit by it to take 15% increased damage from the player who cast the Colossus. Its own damage could also be increased significantly, bringing it closer to the damage potential of Pummeling Bone Goliath.
This would create two viable options:
Pummeling Bone Goliath: High-skill Double Bash gameplay with strong damage.
Glacial Colossus: A simpler alternative with increased Colossus damage and a strong personal damage amplification effect.
That would give players a meaningful choice instead of simply removing one of the most enjoyable Necromancer playstyles.
Please reconsider the 1-second Bash cooldown and look for a way to preserve Double Bash as a high-skill option while giving Glacial Colossus a meaningful buff as an alternative.
