With all these players asking for nerfs of certain classes, I wonder why they just don’t play the Vengeance campaign in the first place so they don’t have to deal with op class builds in GH.

Most people don't know Vengeance exists. The UI is unclear and horrendously myopic. There's no in-game prompt, menu, button, or call-to-action (most modern games have) that indicates if a mode is equalized. New players complain on reddit about BGs needing gear and when I mentioned Vengeance, they say, "What's that?"

I dueled a sorc in Stormhaven and he won by using Race Against Time and staying 20 meters away from my melee templar build and moving at the speed of light. That was the most boring experience I ever had. I understand ranged builds are supposed to kite but it resembled nothing like the old-school dueling videos I watched. Most people are not willing to sacrifice their godlike powers and play Vengeance where they can't zoom out of trouble at a moments notice. I'm sure it's also why that sorc character mostly sat at the sideline because they know their build would be boring to fight against as soon as a mirror sorc employs the same exact tactic.

Oh, I see we have shifted to the "UI" is the reason Veng pop is dead now.. nice.

That's is part of the reason, that people who would enjoy Vengeance don't even know it exists. But for existing players, the reason is much simpler and it's because people don't enjoy being nerfed. After whipping people for 50% of their HP it's hard to downgrade to normal spammable damage that only does 14%

Lmao instead of adding other campaigns like usual for MYM, they did not open them this time.

This is totally not to force people into vengeance

    And it’s STILL EMPTY😂

Still probably the same amount in there as one bar in GH, but you V haters don't understand that because it doesn't make sense to you, or you're so blinded by hate for something that has zero effect on you. Saw plenty of people in there yesterday and MYM wasn't even active. 🤷

Why are you so blinded by hate from real PvP? GH existing has zero effect on you. Can't say the same about vengeance not impacting GH, so it's reasonable for people to take issue with vengeance for several reasons.

Netfs stemming from GH directly affect the rest of the game. That cannot be said of Vengeance.

The PvE players ARE NOT victims of the PvP community. If anything it's the other way around. ZOS caters to the PvE players as if they're the only customers who matter. Vengeance is for the PvE players. Those of us who PvP are looking at a queue of 50 in Blackreach and 130 in GH as I type this, else I would be in game playing.

I did 170 BG in a row yesterday thanks to people like you. With my overly nerfed Warden. Ruined its Ultimates, ruined Arctic Wind, it's Class Mastery, it's Scribing. You are not PvP. You are Build vs. Build. If it kills you, you ask for it to be nerfed until you don't die anymore. Dividing the player base is the only way you can keep splashing around in your small pond. And its coming to an end. 10 more years of this? And end of service date. It doesn't matter what sets I run on my Warden, it's the absolute bottom of the barrel. I saw multiple DKs yesterday with the Blue Betty and Hearth on. Subclassing is the problem! This all started in U46. It needs to go.

170 BGs in a day, surely. Definitely not lying, definitely credible.

Easy answer - they hate Vengence that much.

They would rather suffer in a long queue, deal with all these balance issues, deal with ball groups, deal with the lag, deal with the forced crashes/disconnects, than go into Vengence.

That literally should tell the studio every single thing they need to know about this camp.

There has to be some insane amount of toxic positivity going on inside the studio for them to think people actually like Vengence and want them to keep going down this road.
