I don't know if that was announced and I just missed it, but I just wanted to say "thank you", it's been too long since the last time! <3<3<3

I was drowning in materials when it kicked in. It feels so good.
Hopefully I'll do at least 1 or 2 Ossein Cage runs before it ends, but it's not the most popular trial.

Yeah, I'm gonna send a <snip>load of mats to my alt, and a bunch of other stuff I don't want clogging my main bank since double bank space means alt account can hold all that stuff lol.

I'm relieved it's running until the 27th, when I first saw it I thought it might just be this weekend and then I wouldn't have time to do much with it.

Not that ESO+ adds much for me, since I buy all the DLC I want to play and there's no new ones to check out.

My list, roughly in order of priority is:
    1. Log into each character to dump materials in the crafting bag (done).
    2. Dump spare furniture into the vault (done).
    3. Check houses which are at or over the normal limit to see if I want to add any decorations.
    4. Check dyes on costumes to see if I want to make any changes.
    5. Use the double bank space to sort all the potions, food and other stuff I've accumulated - everyone dumps what they've got into the bank, then I go through them in order and withdraw what they'll actually need, then sell off the excess. (This is probably the most useful, but also the most boring step.)

Decorating houses is the most time consuming bit, since I need to experiment with different options, but it's also the fun part.

Thank you for reminding me to dye my costumes! I was surprised to find this to be the thing about ESO+ I am missing the most. I have stopped doing writs (one less chore, don't miss them) and have no problem with storage space, but not being able to dye costumes has proven very frustrating.

I might also take this opportunity to try to farm some leads from DLC dungeons. But I also might not, because that's just not fun at all.

Do we actually get access to the furnishing vault with "just" a free trial?

    Yes.
We get access to everything ESO+ offers, but free crowns and ESO+ deals.

The furnishing vault is a godsent, but it's also infuriating you can stow stuff there only when you pay monthly.
But if you plan ahead and go into decorating frenzy during that time, its less so.

Ah, now I see my mix-up:
Yes, we get access to the vault and can put stuff in there.
But no, we do not get the actual vault itself during a free trial, but only with a regular subscription.

I think you need the full, paid version of ESO+ to get the furniture vault initially, since it comes from the ESO+ tab in the crown store. But once you've got it the free trial does allow you to put more furnishings into it.

When a subscription expires (paid or free) it works the same as the the craft bag - whatever is in there will stay in there, and can be withdrawn and used but you can't put anything else in. That includes being unable to put something back in if you took it out then changed your mind, once it's placed it's out of the vault.

    Just for clarity:
You had to have unlocked the vault previously with a paid ESO sub to put stuff inside the vault.
You also do not get access to companions.

Normally I think ZOS mentions this in their posts, but I don't recall seeing it in their announcement.

    Hm, you're right
I claimed mine last time I bought ESO+, and I only have access to it during either another purchase or free ESO+ periods
