Faltasë✭✭✭✭✭I'd say it's not really a waste of time because at least the matches go by faster since they're 3 team(at least they go faster in my opinion).
Alot of my matches in a bg weekend like this(especially since it's deathmatch) end in less than 10 minutes. The only time it doesn't is if all three teams have good tankey moments with long minutes of attrition.Edited by Faltasë on 20 August 2026 02:00

You still get about 8k ap per match... Which still ends up being faster than high pop campaigns sometimes in the amount of time you're spending. It's also more guaranteed ap per 10 minutes on low activity cyrodiil campaigns as well. So that's clearly not nothing...

It’s not a waste of time, at least you get an opportunity to actually play unlike in 2 teams bg where the absolute majority of the matches are completely one sides.
You only get the daily reward in 2 teams bg if you win so isn’t 3 teams better in that regard too? Not to mention you still get the usual rewards for 3rd place as well.
Honestly, 2 teams bgs is such a huge failure, whoever even thought of something so atrocious. It was a supposed “pvp update” that killed bgs like nothing else ever could. Not to mention this outcome was totally predictable.

I disagree after one 3-member group absolutely dominating all 4v4v4 Deathmatches on the EU server over the past 24h.
They queue constantly, and there must be a really low traffic for this event cause I literally cannot escape them.
Either that, or it has something to do with the Veterancy rank.
It's the same 3 people each time, the 4th one being a random lucky enough to be blessed with a literally guaranteed victory for that match.
It reached a point I suspected cheating after them scoring 8th victory in a row (highest form of praise for a PvP player I suppose), but numbers in the death screen seem to check out.
They rarely if ever die, they always stick together.
Probably just friends sitting on Discord playing in coordinated manner and using meta builds.
What I'm saying is that it doesn't matter what game mode is if the players are at fault.
I PvP a lot recently to get the skins from Veterancy.
I've seen, or had, teams or games falling apart because the point wasn't taken or someone was killed within first 5 seconds of the match starting.
Or people becoming salty over someone having 18k HP instead of 20k, while they themselves die all the time as Werewolf.
Or people just straight up leaving after 2 deaths.
3 team BG gives more chances to slip on the backline unnoticed due to more chaos, but its no less balanced than 2 team BG.3 -
