Items Pulled from Guild Bank No Longer Auto Stack In Player Inventory

Previously, if you had a full inventory on your toon, but you pulled something out of a guild bank that was stackable, it would auto stack.

Example: Inventory is at 200 of 200 - you are entirely full. You have a partial stack of some green recipe, let's say Markarth Mead. A guildmate has put one in your guild bank, cluttering up the pool and you want to pull it out. Previously, even though you are 200 of 200 item slots, when you'd go to pull that single Markarth Mead recipe out, it would stack into your inventory.

Now, instead of being able to pull it into your inventory, you are given the "Your bags are full" message in the upper right corner of the screen. When you make room in your bags and pull the single Markarth Mead recipe out of the guild bank, it does not go into your partial stack. You must exit out of the gbank interface, open your bags, and hit the "stack items" prompt at the bottom of the screen.

I don't think I've ever had items auto-stack when pulling them from a guild bank. If I understood you, you're saying it used to do that if your inventory is full, and most of the time my inventory is not full, but I'm pretty sure there were times when my inventory became full while I was withdrawing items to stack them, and I don't think the items ever auto-stacked when that happened. What platform are you on? I'm on PC, if that makes a difference.

Been playing for about give years and don't remember anything automatically stacking when taken from (or deposited into) a guild bank. I have to go check one guild bank every three or four days and manually stack duplicates in order to keep it from reaching its limit. Aside from that, I check if something is in the guild bank before depositing and, if so, withdraw it, manually combine in inventory, and then put the stack back in. Regular bank does the auto-stacking, but anything from/to a guild bank doesn't. No idea why, though.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Guild bank doesn’t stack within itself or when depositing to avoid a dupe glitch. I’m not sure if the failure to stack with personal inventory upon withdrawing from the guild bank is part of that safety mechanism. Maybe it was just easiest for them to block autostacking whenever the guild bank is involved.

It is the personal inventory where it for sure used to stack.

I have an alt that just holds common recipes that get deposited by all sorts of folks. I was able to easily pull them into my full inventory to clear space for the guild.
