Well the upvoting seems pointless to me as long as everyone can vote multiple times and without a forum or game account. The voting should be removed.

The forums are a great idea but I would love to see a handful of improvements..

    1. Some sort of feedback from the "Feedback & Suggestions" form to know your vote counted. A +1, that pops up, a tag that says "voted", or a cooldown till you can vote again... or if the votes are intended to be limited then the button greys out.
    • I clicked "Upvote", and seemingly nothing happened? Clicked it a few more times in confusion then looked on that website for any sort of clarification, found none and came back to this forum looking for clarification. The best of which just seems to be "you can click it as much as you want". If true, sounds terrible and nonrepresentive. The Bugs & Pain points section appears to have a transition to "voted up", so why not the other?

    2. Some type of invisible "downvote" system. I don't think anyone other than devs should be able to see those.. because "popularity contests" cause a lot of problems.
    • We've seen plenty of things in this game and many others that one group of players feels strongly about, and because they're loudest about they push a change. Then, the rest of the player base who had dutifully ignored those complaints are blindsided by the fact this happened, and it became wildly unpopular very fast. Give players the ability to object to a change in a way that allows the devs to make a more educated decision.

    3. Add some type of "bug confirmed" or "working as intended" tag for the Bugs & Pain Points that the moderation team applies when approving a post.
    • The game is full of things people believe are bugs that are intentional mechanics, and vice versa. This allows the team to at least showcase if the suggestion is a QoL update or a bug that actually needs squashing. It may make a difference to how people would prioritize their voting.

It does increment as you click it, but the platform does pause votes on things in an effort to combat manipulation in exactly the way people want it to. If you vote on any other topics, you will see them increment properly.

Notably the thing that they've already confirmed is extremely important to the players, the thing that they've confirmed is underway, the thing that they're going to make a writeup on in the next few weeks, and the thing that has almost twice as many votes as the next highest has voting disabled because it's getting votes so fast.

But again, this is not a popularity contest. I hate to bust anyone's bubble, but they're not going to just finish all 6 remaining Class refreshes in U52 just because of this poll. I wouldn't be surprised to see Warden and Sorc both drop in U52 considering Sorc was supposed to drop in U52 from the beginning and it got delayed until January, so it would make sense if they could solve this problem. I'm assuming it could be based on pet mechanics, and as soon as they figure out Bear, they already have that set up for Sorc's pets (and Necro's, once they get to it). But I don't think it's likely that the Refreshes will finish sooner than originally planned just because people are asking for it to.

I really wish we had an in-game voting system for this. It would reach the players who are actually playing the game, not just anyone who looks at ESO-related social media.

I also would much rather see the voting system in game. Gives the ability and likelihood for more individual players to vote.

This is a great initiative. But you need to advertise it somewhere, because I found out about it by accident from someone's stream. I'm sure many people would like to share their ideas (or at least vote for others) but are unaware of this opportunity.

Another challenge is promoting new suggestions – showing people newly added ones. Finding them at the bottom of the list is not the easiest task. You can:
    1) Make default sorting "Newest".
    2) Add a block with the newest suggestions
    3) Add a subscription to new suggestions
