At this point in the encounter, a fight takes place. There is a rogue wandering lionguard that gets caught up in it. A player hitting them gives a bounty. Given the numbers/effects/pace of the battle it's impossible to see them to avoid hitting them.

So this is what happened. I got a bounty but with 50 players in a huge mass moving along and dropping aoes I couldn’t see what was going on.

Yep. If you go back to that location afterwards you'll likely see the body.

And if you're a necromancer, you should just avoid fighting or you get a free bounty from using illegal skills.

I would assume so. The Lion Guard really has to reassign that poor ***.

Just received a bounty from this exact encounter while having "prevent attacking innocents" enabled. Very strange that this somehow bypassed the user setting to allow me to attack the poor lion guard.

You probably healed someone who got a bounty from hitting the guy. Prevent attacking innocents doesn't protect you for that. It's what gets me every time.
    I care what you think.

i think they already have plans to move/remove that guard in the next update

usually right now i try to avoid aoe healing skills since that is usually the biggest cause of bounty (if you heal someone who has a bounty, then you also get a bounty if they are actively engaged with a guard, so it passes through the group pretty quick lol)
