Because this game is not some e-sports game where everyone competes for some millions of dollar for their button mashing skills, there's really no need for the adversity against those who want use it. Or switch up things to try it from time to time.

Just saying things at this point I would assume? You think they don’t do everything possible to ‘cheese’ and OS parse?
You think that top-end OS parses aren’t done with ‘parsing food’, opening up with an ult, and more???

no,i mean did you see anytime oaken player parse use pre proc or ult/summon pet to add more 10-15k dps in dummy

What are you even trying to say?
All top-end parses are ‘cheesed’ to a certain degree; this includes OakenSoul parses as well.
Even furthering my point that someone pulling 110k is unlikely to actually even do that much damage in actual fights.

This part is wrong..
my no pre buff nb parse is 175-180k(lucky for crit or not)
the top 0.1% player no pre buff nb can hit 185k+,if pre can hit 200.
and same build only swap mystic to oaken parse, still can hit 132k-135k
if i swap to dark mer(in nb dummy parse, the crit dmg cap so khajiit not have 3rd passive) no pre buff oakn can hit 137k-139k(258wd=5~7k dps in dummy)
and pre buff maybe can add more dps in this build, but i not have pre gear in PTS/only pre buff in real content hardmode
this is just a simple math problem
if your build not the HA build, and trying use oaken is give up meta mystic(warmask 15%) and back bar arena gear buff(for nb/necro/sorc...etc direct dmg class ,is 12%direct dmg loss),and a little dot dmg .
15%+12% and some dot/ 452 wd glyph not have 50%
and if you are not HA, oaken not give you anything in dummy/real group content(0% dps add )
my friend bash necro meta parse is 198k,use oaken is 143k,the corpsebuster/necro skill/null arca all is direct dmg and it is necro main dmg from
It didn't lose half(100k+) its output; among top players the difference is only about 40-50k damage(25-30%).
not to mention other builds that suffer less(vma bow/staff)

But Oakensoul is not intended to be, nor should it be, a gear piece that makes you into the top 0.1% without building or practicing towards that.
Definitely agree with this.Hopefully the refreshes also bring more “while slotted on either bar” skills as well to make one-bar builds with a backbar of dead skills for buffs more viable.
