Complete 8 thieves guild finder quests

What exactly is a "finder" quest? I don't remember hearing that term before.

They are the "reacquisition" daily quests.

In Hew's Bane (which apparently is currently the only place you can do them and have them count for this challenge) you pick them up from the bulletin board outside the Thieves Den, in the city (not outside the city), by the bearded man sitting near the entrance to the Thieves Den. The blue quest pointer on the bulletin board should help you find the location if you haven't seen it before. When you turn in a quest to him, sometimes he'll say someithing like "A fine day for finding," although the quests are called "reacquisition" quests. Two of the daily quests involve the two world bosses in the zone (although you don't need to kill the bosses to complete the quests), and two of them involve the two delves in the zone.

I'm not sure about the ones in Glenumbra, as I haven't started doing those dailies yet, but I believe the quest pointer is inside the Glenumbra Thieves Den.

I have two: one is 8x3 = 24 quests, the other is 8x6 = 48 quests. I started them when I didn't realize this bug yet... so I can't reroll them. The second one needs 48 days to complete with one character!!! Nice for a weekly challenge ! I'm doing it with two characters... so it will last about a month. Poor me

It would be great if this was addressed. I have this quest as well, and, as with others, it doesn't progress when doing the appropriate daily in Glenumbra.

Rerolled too.

If the Reacquisitions quests from Glenumbra would have worked I'd have kept it, it would have been fulfilled eventually as I am actively completing these for the new motif.

Oh well.

Sorry, but I'm really fed up with all these bugs. This season feels so half-hearted and sloppy. Things are constantly not working. Bugs are being reported, but only a fraction of them are actually fixed. When Season 1 was made, there were a lot more developers. How is this supposed to go on now?

@ZOS_Kevin do you happen to know if a fix for this is slated for either an upcoming incremental or U51?

That only the Abah's Landing reacquisition board dailies count towards this 'challenge', the Glenumbra ones do not.

@Rishikesa108 Why do you need to complete them within a week? What is wrong with rolling over into the next week? The limit is 12 challenges if I remember correctly form Season 0. Unless they changed it, and I missed the announcement.

Because they are literally listed in the tab called. "weekly challenges" Yes, you can wait, and you xcan have twelve of them at a time, but it*s still called weekly challenhes, and should each be doable in a week.

I mean technically if you have multiple characters in the account that can do TG dailies even with only one of the two counting towards the challenge you are still able to complete it within a week.

And technically does a huge amount of heavy lifting in this game.

I couldn't seem to figure out how to finish the "finders" quests, so I just rerolled it. I don't think the Daggerfall dailies counted.

it can become problematic down the line if more challenges pile on and space is taken up by this specific challenge, and any repeats that take up additional challenge slots. it awards 1200 tome points total so that's a good chunk for players min-maxing tome points.

this should not potentially take an army of alts to reasonably complete. these are weekly challenges after all.

Yes the re-acquisition quests tend to be simple, might simpler than the tip board ones, and not stealth related.
Go to an location or delve, kill some mob get item and port back.
As I understand you have to start the Daggerfall thief guild quest to get the board?

I've done 7of 8 of the main quests, the line is finished..how do I do quest 8??

It would be one thing if you had to do 8 total but in less than 7 days you have to do 24. Since you can only do one per day that means you would need at least 4 toons to be able to do these quests. This is completely unreasonable especially since the Daggerfall one still does not count.
