  • Repaired inner door to 100%
  • Went out to help repair outer door to 100%
  • Checked walls but none needed repair
  • Went back inside to transit, noticed inner door was at 83%. There had been no enemy siege on the door

I was under the impression that recapturing the wood farm increases the max hp of doors in the keep. Is it possible that was retaken between the time you finished repairing the inner and finished repairing the outer?

Did the door go from 195k to 161k? Or did it stay at 161k but gain 34k max hp which it now needs to regenerate/have repaired?

All resources had been taken before the keep was captured.

So you were retaking it for EP, then?

UESP’s page admits it hasn’t been checked in a while, and I’m out of game at the moment, but its info seems to match my experiences in Cyro over the years. According to the page for Keeps, a max door hp of 195k (as in your screenshot) can only be achieved from the 45k bonus provided by a level 1 wood farm. (Resources have a starting level of 0.) When you took the wood farm prior to taking the keep proper, you made the defenders lose their 45k bonus to the doors, which is by design to make your siege easier. When you attacked the keep, the max hp of each door would have been only 150k. When you flipped the keep, your wood farm began providing that bonus for you. But it provides the max hp boost first without providing the actual hp yet. It seems like in this case the max hp bonus applied between the time you finished the front door and the time you returned to the inner. (Either that or you might have returned to the outer to find it could have used more repair at that point too.) Some additional repair from players would account for the door being at 161k instead of 150k in your screenshot.

This is also why you can often find walls missing health when there is no siege around. The ore farm upgrades their max hp at level 1, and then very slowly begins to regenerate actual hp at level 2. Flipping resources will make the max hp fluctuate as the bonus is repeatedly lost and regained.

It takes time to gain and drop resource lvl, you can click on it and see what level each resource is and how long will it take to level up/down. When you captured keep, you repaired it up to default 150k, then after some time, lumber leveled up and started providing additional 45k HP for doors, so total became 195k and 161k is a result of autorepair from level 2 most likely, because if someone decided to repair it, they would repair it fully.

Upgrade happens after 10 minutes. Mill was taken only 5 minutes before the keep. So the timing is off. Hence the bug report.

That's just how it happens when a keep flips and the mill is already owned. The keep unflags then about 20-30 seconds later the keep upgrades to have more HP and more repairs are needed. It works the same way for the mine and wall HP and the farm and guard HP.
