Banned for no reason

I hadn't logged into ESO for over a month; when I tried to log in, a message appeared saying I was banned. I don't know the reason, and I haven't received any email about it. I submitted a ticket two weeks ago, but no one has replied.

I don't know the ticket number because I didn't receive an email response, and I can't access the site because I've been banned from it as well.

This is also happening to me. I logged in to a ban, recovered my account in case of hack, submitted ticket but never received email with ticket number, went to log in to see status and it says I am suspended from using the site. I have not played in roughly 8 months due to my son being born and busy with work, come back and I am banned. No email, no warning, no reasoning or ability to even make sure my personal info was safe.

If you can't get a ticket number or reply then DM Kevin with your account name and see if that helps. You should also ensure that they have your current email address and that you're checking the right email account for any approach from ZOS.

I'm assuming that you haven't shared your account details with anyone else as that would be an obvious reason why there could be a ban for something that someone else may have done on your account while you were away from the game.

In discord they say they can not login nor can they log into the website and that they have submitted a ticket but no response.

Their ticket number is #260723-002440

They have been messaging in guild discord and feel a little helpless as they are not able to communicate themselves.

Their ticket is active and awaiting an agent. We know the wait is frustrating, but teams are a bit smaller than usual at the moment. If you've already submitted your account recovery ticket, do you have the ticket number for that one? If not, DM me your account UserID or email on file and I can look it up that way, if you have not yet received any other assistance.

I also have a friend who tried to play and his account says he's banned. He also has NOT recieved an email. Been playing this game for 8 or so years, invested so much time and money, to have some AI bot take it away? This is the second time this has happened. And the reasoning last time, when someone from the forums finally looked into it, was utterly ridiculous. Its a rated mature game. Let people play.
This needs to stop. Please have people make these decisions. We love this game, but the direction it is taking is disappointing for sure.

@ZOS_Kevin, I understand that the team is shorthanded. May I ask that accounts be reinstated? Why make your loyal patrons wait? Especially ones who have recieved no emails, no notifications re: the reasoning behind the bands?
Eso is a wonderful, mature game. If people dislike comments, they can mute you. If they dislike playstyles or players, there are lots of other things to do in the game. The banning system seems to be used lately to remove people with differing opinions and/ideals. I don't believe that should be it's intension. Cheaters? Yes! And there are a lot out there who seem to hide from detection. But someone saying something ridiculous? We used to laugh at such people and move on. Would love us being able to get back to gaming without the fear of "offending" someone and losing our privileges because of it. Let's all just have fun people!! It's why we game ❤️

I spoke directly with a GM and managed to recover my account; everything worked out fine.

Good to hear but do you know why it happened in the first place? I mean can anyone just get a random ban?
