This is just a lie. The claims made were that vengeance was dead, which it verifiably was. .
Your receipts please.
Because my experience does not agree with this in any way.
There are hundreds of screenshots of 1 bar on all factions across vengeance populations on these threads during prime time, and on PC NA it has been 1 bar all cross almost every single day prior to this forced test. Do you disagree?

Anyone can grab a screenshot when it is dead, there's no proof of when it was taken, let alone if they're using the same screenshot for every thread. That isn't proof it is always dead, which it absolutely isn't based off mine and other's experience.

Too bad the vast majority of the playerbase has said and shown otherwise and the devs themselves disagree, with their need to add multiple incentives and shut off GH and BR completely to get better test numbers with it still not filling
Finally I want to remind all that ZOS has explicity stated that thay have tried everyting and failed to improve Gray Host, thus they started to rebuild cyro from scratch. I can verify that there were lots of tests on Gray Host few years ago, of which none produced any sunbstantial improvement.

Thst "vast majority" were unwilling to test from the beginning. That's the pvp-only playerbase. Far from the majority of the playerbase.
Today om PC/EU primetime, all alliances reached 3 bar for some time. There are both in my guild and other guilds an increasing number of people who tries out this Iteration of Vengeance and like it. An organized group has quite an impact in this version, but as not stupidly big as that can have on Gray Host. Bombers are also back by the way.
I suggest that those who havent tried it do so, the set introduction is a big improvement and the lag is still minimal for most people.

Yea no one cares, filled with PvErs that will quit PvP the moment gray host is back, can’t even fill the campaign with double AP and the only option available. Great test ZoS. Why are we doing these tests when the community that will populate the campaign doesn’t want them and isn’t participating in them?

Vengeance PC/EU is not filled with PvErs, there are those but many ar longtime PvPers.

1/6 servers has decent vengeance pop (not even pop locked) with every possible incentive being thrown at it! Oh man what a successful test!

Have even tried the present version vith sets?
Great.. now I will have 7 less days to reach max veterancy level using Cyrodiil. I refuse to play vengeance! Please stop forcing us into an almost completely dead pvp mode. Just remove it and replace it with Icereach.

I logged into PC/NA a few minutes ago and the only message in zone chat was "I want to fight players, I have just been fighting guards, where are the people?" Yeah, I'm good off that.

That "vast majority" were unwilling to test from the beginning. That's the pvp-only playerbase, or the loud minority of them. Far from the majority of the playerbase.

Incorrect, the vast majority of the PvP player base, that logs into ESO multiple times a week to enjoy gray host is almost certainly on break and not playing this campaign, meanwhile PvErs populate the campaign due to the number of incentives that they throw at it so people play it and zenimax iterates on that feedback, from players that only play when they are rewarded and have no idea how to PvP and will never PvP once the tests are done.
