How was your first day of "increased Breton drops" when looting?

Too bad Research Portfolios don't drop plans specific to the zone you get them in.

I opened 4 reward boxes today and got 2 plans. So my drops are way better now. Before I got one plan every two weeks at most…

I spent about an hour in Glenumbra, Stormhaven and Rivenspire, and found no Breton plans 😢 I got a couple of green Orc ones and a blue Redguard one. I did not try the Summerset dailies for the High Elf plans.

I spent another 3 hours in those zones and only found 2 old green Breton plans, and a few more Orc plans. Didn't bother picking them up. Why are we getting so many Orc plans though?

The same as yesterday. I have always suffered from terrible rng. Housing isn't something I can get into because of that.

Second day: Got a green of almost every race EXCEPT Breton.

I don't think this fix, actually went live.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any difference between pre- and post- update drop rates. Farming containers yields the same types of plans as before. Older green plans, more Orcish or Dark/Wood/High Elf plans than Breton plans. The odd blue plan for literally any older base game zone except Breton.

Anyone with better luck post-update?

Purely anecdotal but since the fix I've seen an increase in drop rates of everything BUT the new Breton plans when looting in Glenumbra.

Historically, I got three new plans the first week of the update and nothing since

@ZOS_Kevin Could you please check that this "increase" in Breton furniture plan drops actually went live?

If it did, players aren't seeing the increase at all. In fact, some of us are seeing FEWER Breton drops. Not to mention still very few of the new Breton plans. I'm sure the players listing new purple plans for 10M each won't be happy, but most players can't afford 30-40M on new plans with this economy.

You do not have to be in Glenumbra/Stormheaven/Rivenspire to get some of the new plans. For example, I got the Apple Pie, Lattice Crust and the two below in my favorite Outcast Inn:

And the new bird posts too (but these seemed to be not that rare to begin with).

I've also seen one person reporting here that they found one of the new mushroom planters in one of the containers in IA starter room.

Yes, that's true. I thought the latest patch was supposed to increase drop chances in those three zones though, just a bit disappointed that little has changed.

I farm around 4 hours a day in glenumbra. I’ve noticed a better drop rate for Breton Green and Breton blue don’t seem so bad either. However I have pulled 7 purple plans since the patch and 0 of them were from the Breton pool. Saying that I had pulled 40 purple before that and none of them were new Breton although a few were old. I’m not convinced the Breton one was implemented in the purple loot pool at least.

I’ve already collected the summer set plans so can’t really add anything about that.

I finally got another new green Breton.plan from a backpack in a Stormhaven delve. Grand total is now 4 new plans since the update dropped - woo!!
