But demanding something like that within a week is presumptuous.
Hundreds of people have been laid off. And no one knows if there was any real advance planning regarding the way forward—specifically, which people are truly "needed" and which ones aren't.
Even if there was some initial planning, so many people are gone that the entire roadmap has to be revised to see what is actually still feasible. I would rather have a meaningful roadmap later than a new one every week.

When a company as massive Microsoft initiated mass extinction level layoff events they don't do it on a whim and they have a plan in place for what's to come. All of this was news to us, and probably to the low level employees who got sacked, but in no way was it a surprise to their corporate overlords. ZOS bosses didn't get a call Friday afternoon telling them half of their workforce would be eliminated effective Monday. The leadership knows what the future plans are and have done for a long time. The fact that they're not sharing it with us can only mean one thing: its bad news.
...Why would I wanna invest hours a day in activity if it leads to nothing? The fact that they haven't told us anything about the future speaks loudly though.
It's a game, it doesn't lead to anything. Not a better job, house, pay rise.. you play it for the moments and the memories, enjoy it while it lasts.
Then play something else

It was not "low level" employees. A graphics artist, who created the Khajiit, has been with BGS for 27+ years. Gina and Finn are going on 17+ years. Rich was around for TES4 Oblivion, over 20+years. No these were deep cuts to BGS and ZoS.
