Vengeance bug.

When taking a new character into the Vengeance campaign, the intro quest where you learn to use siege gets stuck when you are asked to repair one of the siege weapons with the ''training repair kit ''. It doesn't appear in your inventory and repairing with the vengeance kit doesn't work.

This might be due to the Vengeance test environment, but I was able to do that in a regular Vengeance instance a couple of weeks back. I don't recall whether the item was showing in regular inventory, but it showed up on the quickslot tools tab when I needed to slot it to do that part of the tutorial. EDIT: not claiming that it is working as intended, but if the goal is to get that tutorial completed, there may be a workaround available.

Try again, this was addressed but if it fails, jump to blackreach to do it then hop back

what do you do if there is no other campaign available to jump to? There was only Vengence. I tried to do the intro quest last night and the training repair kit wasnt available in my inventory

to make matters worse - i was making a video on how I efficiently level a new character lol
