Yea. Those 16k HP cry babies with outdated builds and zero crit resist always get what they want in the end.
They havent nerfed DKs yet, so I dont believe they will touch werewolf now.
They just got a 3% dmg nerf in PvP with latest patch anyway

You aren't adding anything of substance to this conversation. Every one of your comments is either A. crying about DKs and Sorcs or B. claiming that anybody who doesn't share your point of view about Werewolves is running a squishy outdated build.
You offer no support for your opinions, likely because even you cannot support them.
Yet, you continue to comment simply because you want to see Werewolves buffed even more than they currently are.
Although I do appreciate you continually bringing this discussion to the top of the forums so that my suggestion can get more publicity, I want you to know that whenever you engage with this forum post you are actively working against your own self interest by bumping a "nerf Werewolves" post.

Actually I wouldn't say this person is working against themselves because adding noise just dilutes the point and adds more chance that the original message doesn't really get through.
It's probably more worthwhile to just admit that ww, dk, and sorc need balance passes but that in this thread it's just about discussing solutions for ww. Dk and sorc have their threads.
After all, the solutions to each would likely be unique and at the end of the day devs can sort out what they think is best.
I'd appreciate if anyone can explain the lore here but my thought is that you should keep you race passives because that's what you are at base but that the class passives and masteries are a result of your learning those and training in them.
Not sure if it makes sense if you're in beast mode and still tapping into those.

What substance should I add? I dont like roleplaying in the forum. I call a shovel for a shovel. Ww is in a good spot. We been waiting for this for years. Ive played ww since 2016.
Why wouldnt you have class mastery in ww form? It is the class you are at base. We dont benefit from weapon passive or nothing.
If you in this example are a sorc ww. If you lose class passive you lose 10% dmg at full hp. I can show you my dmg parses from.pvp. static revebration hardly do any dmg.
Conservation of energy restore 341magicka and 390 stam, but ww skills cost 1k stam. Hiricine fortitude godt 4k magicka. You can see those class masteries hardly do any?
3 heals on ww and your out of magicka. So that class masteri is not OP at all.
Font of power is crazy good, but no werewolf are using that.
Cripple ww more now and they will not be Playable anymore. Maybe ok in pve , but if we lose more dmg now in PvP we can all just reroll dk right?
They buffed werewolf, and reworked dk cause rest of the classes are going to be reworked in 2047. Ill bet you willake a new role playing post next time about how OP warden reworke is?
When you are making post like this ,you should back up your arguments with dmg number etc etc and show why class masteries are OP for a ww.
You can see my dmg parses from.pvp from the addon we use, and you will see that those class masteries hardly do any, but if you take them away it will Cripple werewolf. Mostly cause of static revebration.

You make cheap cuts at the people posting comments instead of contributing actual substance to the conversation, which is not productive.
This last comment you made actually has substance, so well done there and thank you for finally contributing.
If you are saying you do low damage on a werewolf, that is purely a build problem.
I have received death recaps where static reverberation has accounted for 25k+ damage. That is not "hardly any damage".
Conservation of energy restores 341 magicka and 390 stamina to you on your build, whenever you cast a skill. In combat, when you are actively spamming skills on every GCD, this is about equal to 681 magicka recovery and 780 stamina recovery, because recoveries tick every 2 seconds and Conservation of Energy can proc every 1 second. You claim this "hardly does anything", but the inclusion of over 1200 combined Magicka and Stamina recovery into your Werewolf build provides you enough sustain so that there is no need for you to source any sustain elsewhere.
You also claim that you can only heal 3x before you are out of magicka, but Werewolf also receives max health based healing on both their AoE spammable ability (Bloodclaws) and their single target execute spammable (Rip and Tear), so in reality you should be getting enough passive healing on every GCD that you do not even need to go on the defensive.
Couple all of this with passively granted Major Evasion, Major Expedition, Major Vitality, Major Protection, Minor Protection, and Minor Courage by Werewolf Skills, how can you make the argument that the free 25k of damage Static Reverberation gives you throughout a fight and the free 1200+ in combined Stamina and Magicka Recoveries are not overpowered?
Your extreme bias toward Werewolves is showing.
And please don't revert back to "...but DK! ...but Sorc!". We've already determined those are also problematic parts of the game balance that also need adjusting and it even sounds like you are playing a Sorc character yourself.
P.S. I don't appreciate you making assumptions about who I am and what I will or will not read. I always read every word of every comment on my posts, even when they aren't worth it.

Where are you getting these nonsense numbers lol? Do you use addon for dmg parses in PvP? Static revebration does 700dps at max.(Battel spirit )Thats right over flame enchant and poisen enchant . Those are around 400-500 dps. 25k from a death recap dosnt tell you anything.
Just stop post nonsense numbers.
I dont know if you play on pc or ps5. But you can get an addon and track every dmg dot , hit etc. Its nothing wrong with my build. I run same build as everyone else.
And static revebration have nothing to do with your build lol. Its does the same dps as flame and poisen enchant.
Werewolf have always had healing from blood claws , but now they heal 33% less or something. And top of that they are halfed by battle spirit. Always had health scaling heal on hiricine fortitude, and stam back.
You know we can sustain even if we didnt have Conservation of energy? Hiricine fortitude gives 12% stam back and is increased how high your current health is.
Conservation of energy is a joke. Spam healing on ww drain you more than conversation of energy gives back. Every time i use hiricine i get 4.5k stam.back without Conservation of energy.

Nobody is calling for Class Mastery nerfs, but thank you for pointing out that Werewolf sustain is laughably easy, regardless of which class is being played. This narrows the problem down to Werewolf form, which I have been saying from the very beginning. Thank you for finally admitting that.
Sustain and defense is already so laughably easy on Werewolf builds, that there is absolutely no need for them to also be given access to Class Passive and Mastery skills that provide them even more sustain and free damage. This is the issue that needs addressing, and the one I've been explaining throughout this post.

Feral pounce also restore stamina back.
I played Templar werewolf too, and had no problem with sustain as werewolf.
Maybe we should nerf Templar class mastery also?
Nobody is calling for Class Mastery nerfs, but thank you for pointing out that Werewolf sustain is laughably easy, regardless of which class is being played. This narrows the problem down to Werewolf form, which I have been saying from the very beginning. Thank you for finally admitting that.
Sustain and defense is already so laughably easy on Werewolf builds, that there is absolutely no need for them to also be given access to Class Passive and Mastery skills that provide them even more sustain and free damage. This is the issue that needs addressing, and the one I've been explaining throughout this post.
Why cant ww have good sustain when DKs and sorcs have infinitive sustain? You know all classes are going to be reworked like that? They are dumbing down the game. Every class after rework in 2047 will have no problems with sustain. Warden already had the best passive for sustain from.before.

You aren't adding anything of substance to this conversation. Every one of your comments is either A. crying about DKs and Sorcs or B. claiming that anybody who doesn't share your point of view about Werewolves is running a squishy outdated build.

Here we go again with the "...but DK! ...but Sorc!" argument.
I've already told you that those are also problematic areas of the game that also need addressing. Just because those two playstyles are overperforming does not mean Werewolf is not also overperforming. I've tried defending this with numbers and statistics and laying out the power allotments that I believe to be problematic, and your only counter to them is "...but DK! ...but Sorc!".
The fact you are so infatuated with these two playstyles in particular tells me that Werewolves have no problem with any other class. Even if DK and Sorc weren't overperforming, perhaps maybe they serve as the legitimate counter to the Werewolf style of play?
Every aspect of the game needs a legitimate counter; this is the basic, fundamental principle behind the the rock, paper, scissors mechanic that MMORPGs like this one are based off of. If something doesn't have a counter, it is overpowered.
You seem to want Werewolves to be the counter to every playstyle out there, and also be un-counterable by anything else in the game. Their current power allotment is nearly that, as I've already outlined to you, but you still want more.
Perhaps it isn't game balance you are looking for after all, and instead just continuous buffs to your favorite build.

Please provide video proof of you fighting a META DK / WW / Sorc and having "no problem sustaining" as a PURE templar. Sure you can sustain, but you will lose so much damage compared to your opponent that the field is nowhere near balanced. Because unlike those three, you'll have to actually build and invest in sustain on templar.
That's not speculation, it's a literal fact based on how the classes are setup, skill cost, and the overall fact that the templar's entire pure class line has needed refreshing for YEARS. You'd know it if you actually played the class for years like you claim.
Also, don't think there is much else to even nerf on templar. They even cut Blazing Shard damage in half on that class. Couldn't have a templar spam Blazing Shards with Dark Convergence and score some kills now, could we ZOS?

When you are making post like this ,you should back up your arguments with dmg number etc etc and show why class masteries are OP for a ww.
You can see my dmg parses from.pvp from the addon we use, and you will see that those class masteries hardly do any, but if you take them away it will Cripple werewolf. Mostly cause of static revebration.
To bad i cant post pictures here
You know what needs nerfing? Werewolf running with gorethief and maarselok, thats a big problem. Gorethief and maarselok is the problem
Bet you wont read this at all
Cheers
They are wearing Pariah in 2026 and called it an offense set. I mean, that sums it up...It's a build issue.

When did eso have balanced PVP?
Iam.not arguing with you anymore. You see things your way and thats fine by me.
I couldnt care less if they nerf werewolf. If that happens they need to nerf DKs and sorcs also so you get your balance.
Now just leave this decade old game in maintence mode and focus on fixing vengeance mode , cause there is where all players are right?
Cheers
Id rather see them buff the class masteries for the non worked classes instead of gutting WWRaise the floor and such.

Because Werewolves are able to take advantage of class passive and class mastery skills, buffing the other class mastery skills would also buff Werewolves, which are already overperforming right now.
See, thats not underperforming or outdated. There Will never be balance across pvp in this game, never has been.
Flavor of the month set/class/build everytime. /thread
One thing I've noticed over the years in PvP discussions is that whenever something falls outside the "accepted" meta, the first reaction is often to ask for it to be nerfed until it plays like everything else. Instead of asking how to counter it or letting it occupy its own niche, the goal becomes bringing it down to everyone else's level.
Werewolf has always been different by design. It's a transformation with meaningful tradeoffs: you lose access to your normal class toolkit, have no shields, limited utility, no easy snare removal, and rely heavily on staying aggressive to survive. In exchange, it excels at a very specific role. That's healthy game design.
Now we're finally getting class reworks across the board. Every class is about to gain new tools, passives, and ways to play. This is exactly the wrong time to start stripping class identity away from werewolf because it doesn't fit someone's preferred PvP environment.
The class passive integration has been one of the most appreciated additions to werewolf in years. It finally makes your class choice matter after transforming. A Sorcerer wolf feels different from a Warden wolf. A Dragonknight, Nightblade, Templar, Necromancer, or Arcanist each bring their own flavor instead of every werewolf being the exact same character with a different skin. That's good for build diversity and replayability.
If anything, the game needs more of this kind of design, not less. Let classes retain their identity even while transformed. Give players reasons to experiment with different combinations instead of homogenizing every build into the same experience.
Balance should absolutely happen where it's needed. If a specific passive or interaction is overtuned, adjust that interaction. But don't throw out one of the most successful systems introduced to werewolf simply because some players would rather every build conform to the same PvP expectations.
Werewolf has spent years being a niche playstyle with obvious strengths and obvious weaknesses. The addition of class flavor finally made choosing your base class feel meaningful again. With class reworks on the horizon, this is something ZOS should be expanding, not removing.
Let's stop asking for unique mechanics to be flattened every time they become relevant. The game is healthier when different playstyles actually feel different.

P.S. Resistances aren't the way to counter DKs, they have access to Corrosive Armor which allows them to ignore all resistances. Especially on a Werewolf, which has access to multiple, strong healing skills that scale off of max health, you're going to want to run a max health set instead of pariah, likely either Plague Doctor or Warrior-Poet, depending on your current max health pool. This will help both your ability to withstand a DK's one-shot combo and also your passive healing.
