I am rarely excited about new changes happening in ESO but cross-play was the one thing I was eagerly waiting for. I know doing so is a large project, but it would be a great addition.

Why would you leave just for a feature not being in the game? What are the pro/cons of having it and not having it.

Personally, I can care less about crossplay and would like to be reassured of new areas in the future.

You are't looking at the bigger picture.

If they are cancelling something as fundamental as crossplay which this game definitely will needs in the near future ..

pvp on console is dying it needs more players.

and with content releasing less and less in recent times its only a matter of time before the pve player base starts to drop off

without crossplay the game will die I have no doubt.

But not only that if crossplay is cancelled then that would mean the future of eso is extremely uncertain.

No running around with friends from other platforms out in the wild. And hopefully no market crash if platforms can crossplay.

In a nutshell, personal I don't expect much from crossplay.

And making it a 30 years game, no biggie. Finally kill the console servers and alow players remote play with their M$ or Sony accounts on the pc-servers, character migration included for free.

And before the rage starts: I am PS-EU console player just trying to stay realistic.

This is such an bad take because if the devs were to do it correctly and right theres no reason that it would be only be for instanced content like arena dungeons trials etc Look at FFXIV and what they are doing with combining all of the servers into one after so long with the Upcoming dlc. so if the devs can do crossplay right and do it correctly I could totally see us running around with friends from other platforms in the wild.
