Quality of Life: Search Bar for furnishings in Crafting stations

Just something that I figured would be good for some visibility, is the idea that a search bar in the crafting menus would be really nice.
When you have one or more tabs, it can already be a bit of a time waster to try and go through each line of options, I feel a search function would really make the UI much smoother to navigate

We wish! Many were hoping for something like that when a big Housing focused update was teased couple years back. We got home tours instead.

Home tours were a nice addition and Cardinal did such a good job towards that. But I'm really hoping Housing isn't ignored since they are gone, I wish they could have stayed.

I'd love a racial style filter too, like the one we get in the in-home editor. It would be a good backup option for times when we don't remember the names of things (which is practically all the time for me).

There are multiple addons that add a search box in the crafting station interface. Votan's Search Box, Craftstore, and HearthHome Filter.

Set crafter also has a search bar for furniture in its dedicated furniture crafting section. It also lists all furnishings in one list, so you don't need to run around finding the right station.

Hi Kevin, just a quick note, a related idea that's been thrown around and would be really cool is some kind of "master furnishing crafting station" that would allow us to craft all our furnishings from one menu. Hope that's something the team might also consider as a future QoL update. Thanks!

OH! Yes this would be AMAZING!
Personally I would also like to see the items sorted by ITEM type ( Ex: Chairs, Tables, Beds, Curtains, Pillows, Desks etc... ) instead of by, I guess I will call it ROOM type? like it is now. I can never remember if I am to look in Parlor or Library or something else for the item type I am looking for!

A search bar would be great.

I'd also like different categories, which is something that would work really well with a combined furniture crafting station. Options to sort by things like racial style or furnishing type - all the tables together, all the shelves together etc. I usually don't care what room a furnishing is intended for, I'll use a dining table as a desk (or a bridge) if it looks right and it can be quite time consuming to check all the relevant categories to see what my options are.

Not furnishing related, but could text search also be included in Eidetic memory items? I often have trouble following up or remembering details in quests, and I can never find the letters and journals to refer to.

Thanks for keeping us informed. I dream of the day when my crafter (they of "I will learn every craftable in the game" fame) can walk up to a station and be able to spend more time crafting than looking for an item buried in a seemingly endless list.
