Thieves Guild finder quest

Not getting credit for completing Thieves Guild finders Quests under weekly challenges,

Neither for seasonal challenge "Complete 8 Daggerfall Thieves Guild Quests". The first time I did a reacquisition quest, it counted. The second time it didn't... I have to do 8 in a season... not much, but it doesn't complete

Are you kidding me! Its the guy outside of the Thieves guild that gives you the quest?

SPENCER?!

You all need to work on your wording. Cause last I checked he cant be found at the Daggerfall Thieves guild. And he is most decently OUTSIDE of the thieves guild in Hews Bane.

Those are the eight quests that are in the new Thieves Guild quest line. Those progress that season task.

For the Season One Tamriel Tome Weekly Challenge “Complete 8 Thieves Guild Finder Quests”, the only quest that gives credit / progress to this is Spencer Rye’s Reacquisition Quests received from Abah’s Landing.
After completing his initial quest “The Sailor’s Pipe”, the Tip Board next to his spot will offer one of 4 different quests on daily rotation.

Josseline Madier’s Reacquisition Quests obtained in Glenumbra’s Thieves Guild Tip Board do not give credit / progress to thie specific Weekly Challenge, nor do any other daily Thieves Guild quest. They will give credit / progress to the other Glenumbra Thieves Guild daily quest challenges. Whether this is by design or an oversight is unknown, ZOS shall have to clarify on this.

This has been tested and verified by my groups over 2 days. Screenshot below shows progress for 9 credits (8/8 claimed once for 200 Points, and 1 credit in progress). These quests can be shared by other players, so you may ask in Abah’s Landing zone “LF Thrall Cove quest” etc or similar to obtain more than one quest per character per day (to a max of 4 completes per character per day - note same rule applies for sharable daily quests, the same named quest cannot be repeated on the same character on the dame day).

Beat me to it, but yes, I noticed that last night: only Rye's board mission advances the challenge counter.

It has to be an oversight since it mentions Daggerfall as well in the Challenge description.

How on earth are we supposed to complete 48 (FORTY EIGHT) of these quests in a single week??

I mean, other than having six other alt toons doing nothing else but that.

Short answer on this is "yes." The count is being reduced from eight to one in Update 51, but no announcement on whether the Daggerfall missions are going to start counting. I think it's still six repetitions, or 12 if you've unlocked Bonus Pages, and we'll know more when PTS opens on the 3rd, but the quantity required has been (will be) addressed. For now, alt-grinding is about the only way to clear it in less than the 48 days a single character would need. Since you haven't claimed the first repetition, you can reroll it and get rid of it for something else.

I just did the Spencer Rye reacquisition quest "memories of youth" I didn't receive credit.

Am I doing the wrong quests for weekly Guild Finder quest. I have credit for 9 but stalled out today.

No, you're doing the correct ones. It may have just glitched out for some reason. I thought it was in batches of 8 currently, so maybe if you claim the completion it will update your count?

I had the same thing happen to me the other day, but I don't know if it was for that specific quest. In my case, I had accepted one of his quests the night before but hadn't done it before logging out for the night. The next day I completed the quest and turned it in, then accepted, completed, and turned in another quest, but I only got credit for compketing 1 "finder" quest. So it may have been that quest, or it may have been a quest for one of the world bosses.

Thank you for answer. It's been crazy trying to keep track of all this stuff. I'll try again tomorrow.
