What is your favorite mount type?
You can select quasigriffon also for other chimera types like Tharriker (combinations of multiple animals).

Horse Types

Horses are beautiful in real life and Eso. If we had flying mounts, I might be persuaded to go with Dragons. But there are many cool and beautiful mounts of all types. They are fun to collect and its exciting to see others out in Tamriel with them.

Canine / Wolf / Durzogs Types

My favourites are wolves and senches. Guars are cool, too.

Whoever votes horses here, doesn't know or care about horses in real life! ESO has the most horrible model in any video game I have ever seen. Just compare the 3D model side by side with a photo of a real horse. The neck, the rump and most significantly the hind legs are just horrible deformities.

I've only ever owned two horse mounts in this game, the free one you get and then I bought one at the stablemaster. Horses are just so plain when you can ride on a GIANT PANTHER, or even Wolves and Stags.

But yeah, GIANT PANTHER! (and Guars!)

All heavyweights, as they used to be called (and should be again). Doesn't matter if it is a senche raht, quasigriff, welwa or a titan. Heavyweights are the best.
But not you bears, you run horribly.

Horse Types

My characters ride horses 95% of the time.
Please ZoS, fix horses so they aren't deformed!!! Especially their hind legs.
It makes me mad every time I see a horse in ESO.

Cat / Senche Raht Types

I'm currently using the Mirrormoor Shard Senche as my mount, but I'm waiting for the Sowngarde crate, and I'd like the Lambent Shadowmane Courser, which is a horse. For my companion', I'd like the Luminous Meridian Charger, which is also a horse, from the Dark Chivalry crate. So personally, I tend to go by the character/companion current appearance, so...

Horse/Deer, followed by Heavyweight and Guar.

The ones your character can properly sit on. Senche is the worst by far.

I don't have a favourite. It is completely dependent on my character.

My humans, Altmer, and Orcs use various horses. My Bosmer use wolves. My Dunmer and Argonians use guar. My Khajiit use felines (one uses a Senche-raht and the other a Senche Leopard).

The only flashy mount I use is the Storm Atronach Guar on my Dunmer summoner. The rest are all "realistic."

I usually use the Heavyweights (Welwa mostly), big cats, wolves, and Guar mounts. Occasionally I'll use something like the bear, the indrik, the camel, or the horse, but those are usually for specific characters with specific backstories. My main prefers wolves and heavyweights.

My characters use different ones, either something that fits their cultural origin, or when chapters were a thing, they got a mount that fit the new environment (pretending they might have rented it there) - a camel for desert regions, for example.

Always some "classical", natural version of the mount type. The camel or horse or deer might be brown, white or black, but I don't want it to explode, glitter or glow in neon colors.

My main uses a vvardvark since riding vvardvarks are a thing.

Horse Types

Though usually I like wolves, as mount I prefer horses.
My main was using usual black horse from stables since first month after release, and changed it to Legion Zero Destrier, which looks like black horse in armor, when it appeared.
I can use something else, but for a short time, like event or doing quests in specific zone.
Other characters are more variative, but mostly there are also horses, without glowing-flashing-whatever-else.

And I can't ride camels in ESO. I get motion sickness just from looking on them running! Only once I used camel more than minute - it was slow ride through Alik'r desert.

Felines/cats. The available options don't work because Senche Raht's are modeled on the bear animation, not the cat animation.

Construct Types

I like how smooth the dwemer spiders ride, but I visually prefer the Indriks and Senches.

I also adore the big multi-rider moose mount we got, especially whenever I use the Trample skill so I can run around Cyrodiil throwing moose at people.

Special place in my heart for the toy horse stick mounts, too, they always make me smile.

Edit: I've never had a Guard mount myself, but I appreciate them.

Like in real life. In travel reports from the 1800s it's called "camel sickness". It's also said that Napoleon was struggling during his Egypt Campaign because many of his soldiers got sick and rendered useless from riding camels.
