PSA: You need to use Stendarr's Gift

As the crowds at Dynamic Events are shrinking, this is a PSA to actually pick up Stendarr's Gifts, and USE the beam (light or heavy attack). Your ultimate will not take down the stones, only Stendarr's light will. The beam can also really hurt the vampires, good for new players who may not have a lot of dps!

I know it's fun to pre-set attacks, but with fewer people doing these events, it's important for everyone to do the mechanics.

Just to say, I did this DE about this time last night. There were 3 of us. I was a bit gutted, because I did the first phase solo. It involved, legging it to the gift, getting back to kill the vamps, heal up NPC. Repeat. Took a bit, but was fun.

Maybe if more of us encouraged others to learn mechs, more trials pugs would succeed.

You know, instead of insulting those of us who bother to teach and raid lead.

I wish you could keep them for the whole fight sequence. It seems to disappear when the first chest appears (which I can actually see now, lol). The number of players on my server has dropped off and it takes a while to get the vampire groups down without them if there are just a couple of people around.

Unfortunately, werewolves, vampire scions, and necro goliaths can’t hold the light (edit; this is probably a model/rigging thing but I guess it makes sense, Stendarr would burn those transformations for sure). Not an excuse for everyone else but just fyi.

Along the same vein.. Bilsa Delivery requires that you actually hand in the fish you catch to progress stage 1.
