Daily reward coffers.

Why aren't they account-bound, and why aren't they stackable?
When I complete daily quests on 10 characters for example, why on earth can't I deposit the coffers into the bank, why can't they be stacked, and why can't I simply open them on my main character? What's the problem?

    Daily coffers are quest rewards.
    Quests are character based.

Ok, so why not change that?
I’m still doing the task with my account, and the reward still goes to my account. For example, when I open a Summerset Coffer and get a blueprint or motif, I can put that blueprint or motif in the bank and retrieve it from any other character—so why can’t I just put the coffer itself in the bank? What’s the logical reason? The rewards in the coffer aren’t “character-locked,” so why is the coffer itself?
So why not change this rule and make these coffers account-bound? They’d still stay with my acc—they’re still a reward for my work, yknow...

The question, why some items are character bound and some are account bound, arises quite regularly.

There was a developer answer a long time ago, but I can't find it. If I remember correctly, it's a hard coded design choice.

And of course its always possible to argue about design choices.

Also there was a sidenote, that making unopened containers stackable might cause some unwanted side effects and implications because of the way they are coded.

Sorry, not a very helpful answer, but at least some background information.

They may not be character-bound *at this time*, but maybe future content will be.
You are asking for the removal of an option for future game development. Unlikely to happen, and "as of now" seems to be not a huge problem after all, just a minor inconvenience.

Long story short.. Coffers are containers. Containers cannot be deposited into the bank because it would sidestep the bank's inventory management mechanic.

For how many years were Treasure maps "unique" and couldn't be stacked? Yet here we are, and we even have not only stackable maps but also unopened ones.
For how many years could Surveys not be sold, and yet here we are with them—stackable and for sale.
I only see explanations for why things are the way they are, but I don’t see any reason why these coffers couldn’t be stackable. And as far as coding goes, I don’t believe it would be impossible to implement something like this in 2026. Maybe people aren’t interested in this so devs dont care? Who knows—personally, I’d really welcome this as a quality-of-life improvement in any future updates.
