Templar Jabs Still Broken in First Person View

Templar Jabs is still broken in first person (like in the image above where it starts doing no damage and replaces the skill visual with my weapon in hand) ever since I started playing and I main Templar so my main spammable has been unusable this entire time. I know people will tell me that playing in first person puts me at a disadvantage but it really doesn't and it is my preferred way to play. I would just like to hear that something will be done about it, hopefully when the Templar rework happens.

✭✭✭✭I read this and was quite surprised, so I logged to each of my accounts which all main Templars.
I cannot immediately reproduce this issue.
In first person my jabby spear is all I see, if I hit and wait my spear changes to my staff but if I constantly spam jabs my animation is of the spear not my staff.
This is on characters using the magicka version and on PC.
Is your Templar using the stamina version of jabs? Has this always happened?
We need more info, like could it be an addon interfering?
I can honestly say I have never seen this happen in the last 12 years, so it seems something else might be at work here.
For extra info, main account is around 2600cp, next is around 1300cp and final one is around 700cp, so I sort of expected if it was going to happen it would be during a longer fight on my lowest cp character but even then I could not reproduce it.When people say to me........

✭✭✭✭Hmm very curious, I'm presuming because you are using what appears to be a two handed sword that it might be the stamina version of jabs you are using?
If it is I can at some point respec mine and see if it happens to me too.When people say to me........

✭✭✭✭Ok so I made myself a two handed sword and went off to fight a world boss on my main account.
First I used my staff and saw no issues at all, then I swapped to the sword and immediately saw the spears not showing but the sword instead.
However even with the sword being in place of the animation I was still seeing the same combat damage numbers.
For extra info I usually use a Deadly Strike Lightning Staff and made a Deadly Strike Two Handed to swap in.When people say to me........
