Where did this come from? They just buffed half of the sets lol

There was already a pointless PVE nerf to Signet. If they do more pointless nerfs to gear that people are grinding for in some of the worst content in the game, it will infuriate them. They already knew the power surge it gave us when it was on the PTS, they still let us have it. I don't even like the power surges, but it's obvious to see that it makes people hate the game when players waste their time with a meta that disappears immediately.

Last I checked, Signet did not come from Infinite Archive. If they nerf IA gear, I'd understand complaining. Not necessarily agree, kinda depends on what/how, but I'd understand. But making something up whole cloth to be mad about is not one I get.
As for signet...I mean, do you want them to be quick about fixing problems that make it to live or nah?

I think the intention of OP might have been just to warn about the drawbacks of blindly nerf interesting stuff to the ground instead of taking the time to actually think and find a balanced approach... I did my own post about it as well, but yeah, this post is just outright whining

The disgusting IA grind is the main reason I'm not trying different classes as a DPS in U50. Farming IA makes me close ESO and play a different game. The IA slog is extreme.ToddIngram wrote: »Only IA gear should drop in IA. Every piece of every set comes in all three weights. That's a crazy amount of time to get what we're after. I really want to try the nightblade siphoning set and the necromancer one that gives you a DR and healing taken buff, but lordie it's tough trying to make myself actually run IA for it. The only IA set I have in active use is aetheric lancer, and it's not even 'done' technically, I just decided I'd rather use a 2h axe instead of grinding more for the specific 2h weapon I wanted.
I may get to it eventually, but it's such a bad grind I seriously consider replacing them with a crafted set, or more easily acquired non-crafted.

In this case though, nothing has happened yet. And as for the Signet in PvE (PvP is a whole other story) which one would you say applies in this case? Did they nerf it to the ground? Or did they balance it? Sometimes balancing can entail a nerf. I've noticed a large portion of the complaints come from people that have no actual interest in balance. I direct your attention to exhibit 'A', Update 35 *gracefully gestures in that direction*

Grinds my gears personally. Cannot be divided into integer cleanly and games like these when things are not in clean integer, they almost always just drop the decimal part. For example, this thing with the bear will now be 66.5% each and it will likely just be 66% instead of 67%. Hope not but that'd be 1% more nerf than the game lets on if the formular works like this.
