Yeah I have been saying this forever in that more monotonous tasks that deserve to be streamlined should exist so we can get back to the other parts of the game that can't be streamlined any further... like stickerbook filling for dungeons and trials, or more important stuff like being able to help out your guildies or make new friends, or encourage MORE exploration. The surveys do not encourage that stuff, they are purely there to patronize your experience. It implores you to become the product not the one using said product.

I mean really at this point if you are a dedicated crafter and want to farm the surveys, you essentially have to choose between grinding materials over playing the game, because of how atrociously long it takes to collect large stacks of surveys. 5? no time at all. Stacks of 20+? especially if you have multiple types allocated to all crafting skills? Thats easily hours of your time wasted on one stupid menial task.

To all the people defending ZoS for this time sink, and not taking into account the others(ToT, Infinite Archive, Scribing, Scripts, Housing, Stickerbook collecting, Questing, Achievement hunting) you'd think for once some of these people would just think about the fact that everyone who plays this game is not going to live forever, and that time is a currency of more value than anything on planet earth. If time is the most valuable currency, why would any of us be happy with spending it on monotonous time sink *** like getting the mats from surveys which should already have been materials in the first place? Clearly you are just making excuses for a game with enough time sinks as is.

We need more time to play the other parts of the game, and consolidating the acquisition of survey materials would make the playing experience overall wayyyyyy better.
