So I have to chime in on the signet nerf. ZOS created a new meta with this signet that finally made so many set and builds viable for PVP and because of a few very vocal complainers you destroy everything you recently built and all the hours that people like myself put into making new fun builds.

Force pulse gankers existed before the signet and will continue to exist. But now we are forced back to a PVP meta that most people will be running the same exact sets and builds on everything.

POOPY!

You did a great thing and then cut everyones hand off to spite your face over a very squishy pulse gank build.

I don't like it at all. I can't believe you let the few complainers that have nothing better to do but complain rather that make new builds win and make your decisions for you.

You did ruin a good thing here!

Counterpoint: if a single piece of gear provides the backbone of a build with no way to replace or replicate it's power and that advantage of that piece of gear literally determines the outcome of a battle before it even starts, then it's OP and needs to be addressed.

Next up, can we talk about Lefthander's Aegis and how roll is too cheap of a cost for that shield size?

Let's go. We have a bunch of mythics to talk about!

You mentioned twice there were only a "few complainers" and zos listened to them. How many were there?
    I'm offended that ur offended....

Nah, this mythic needed to go. It never should have entered the game in the state that it did. Status effects should not be primary sources of damage, and it wasn't just pulse gankers and WWs making this mythic overperform. I was walking around on a few sorc builds with 35-40k HP, high resists, and absurd self healing just one tapping people with status effects.

    Agree.

What's more sad, is that once again ZoS had ample feedback during the PTS cycle and they still didn't listen before sending the Signet live.

This is bad for optics. Again.

So much for ZoS evolving away from the old-guard mentality...

I wish it could have been adjusted to be balanced in PvP, but it was certainly highly problematic and overpowered. A great reduction may have been enough instead of fully eliminating it in PvP.

And yet, here we are still wondering if they will ever address ball groups... at least with SPS we could almost tickle them.

but to stay on topic, I agree that the mythic opened up or reopened a lot of sets that were quite fun: serpent's disdain, sheer venom, spattering whatever, heartland, threads of war, caluurion, etc. Now we're back to the boring meta with WW and DK. And ball groups, since they'll never get nerfed.

    SPS was over-nerfed. It needed a 50% nerf, not a 100% nerf.

ZOS is too heavy handed with nerfs. PvP requires more precisions which is why they need a PVP balance team.

It is easy to nerf an item rather than actually looking into mechanics of how OP things work and address appropriately.

You know.... I expected worse from ZOS. In a twisted way, I am pleasantly surprised that they still made it useable in PvE. Except for 133, I don't like that number because not clean cut number that ends in 0 or 5.

I spent months fine-tuning my Mist Form tank build, which was the most fun I ever had on this game. People complained. Then it got completely deleted, even though it wasn't a threat to anyone. It could stay alive and defend flags. Whoop-dee-doo. But that was too much for this game's PvP community to have a build that couldn't be obliterated in the span of a global cool down.

So you will have to forgive me if I don't sympathize with something that would cover my screen from one end to the other with "status effects" and melt my HP in less than second being removed.
