Doing Arc 1 to Arc 3 (stopping after killing the Marauder) is technically quicker if the Marauder is within the first couple of Arcs. The time saved isn't anything to write home about. So yes, just farm Arc 1.

personal preference really

i get annoying having to reset constantly so i preferred going to arc 3 unless i was tight on time, or didnt feel like doing the longer run

an arc 1 clear should only take around 10 min if your doing a full dps build (which is very easy to do in arc 1), arc 3 clear can potentially be done in about 30-45 min but heavily depends on vision selection and if you are able to take out the marauders quick

if you dont mind resetting frequently then farming arc 1 should be fine, but you would also get more fortunes going to 3

After you've consumed and completed all the fragments (spoils etc), they are then replaced with curated gear drops.

You get gear after the collectibles are done but is it curated? I recall getting gear from Master Malkhest but it seemed to be random luck if it was something I needed. I have sticker book completed at this point so I can't test and it's possible that it changed to curated at some point.

Yeah it changed some time back. I'd also completed my stickerbook when it happened. But yeah, it's now curated. It happened during the same update where they changed the Lead and Style Page drops so they could both drop at the same time and not exclude one or the other. (again something I had already completed LOL!)
