The one-off skill styles are always weird to me. I like them better as packs, like the Nocturnal and Winters themed skill style packs. Should’ve included flame skull and maybe the mage/archer.

I'd like to know where this price for a single skill skin comes from. Here are the prices for the following items:
Two companions—1,500 crowns; one class—1500; dungeon DLC—1,500 crowns; one mini-chapter—2,000 crowns; Any Race, Any Alliance bundle—2,000 crowns; two starter packs—500 and 1,000 crowns; skill lines —2,000 (not all).
What kind of pricing policy is this? Because this pricing policy has long been unreasonable and unjustifiably high across many categories: skins, service tokens, outfit slots, and armory slots and etc. Just think about it—outfit slots cost 1,500 Crown. Is that a reasonable price? As far as I’m concerned, the price for such skill skins should be no more than 1,000 Crown. 1,000 Crown is the absolute maximum. And the price for outfit slots should be no more than 500 Crown.
Where do these prices for so many items come from? Including just ONE skill skin.

Think of price is inclusive of a "limited edition" premium.

Now that they're no longer selling chapters, and the subscription has always been optional (not every player has it,) and the premium seasonal track is also optional (not every player will buy it,) they need new ways to fund the game. The pricing makes sense to me. Things that really affect the way you play the game (like extra character slots) should cost less than things that anyone can play without (like cosmetics.)
Destiny 2's community always complained about the prices for cosmetics in that game, and called it predatory like some people do here. Bungie reduced prices to appease its player base. The result? Destiny 2 doesn't generate enough money for Sony to justify continuing to develop the game, and the game will now no longer get any updates.
We all like free things, but we also all like ESO, and wouldn't want the game to die. If it's just cosmetics, then who cares? Let them price them how they want, and let the people who can afford them help fund the game. Not to mention that you can technically buy them for gold for crowns as well, without having to ever spend any real money.
Careful what you wish for.
