Houses 10% off during Zenithar

I know not everyone reads the news articles and such, or people skim them or skip entire parts because they're looking for specific info. There are also going to always be new people who also don't read articles or whatever lol. So I figured I'd just remind/inform everyone that during the Zenithar event, Houses count for the 10% Vendor discount. Is a good time to buy more expensive Houses since any Gold saved is Gold you can wave goodbye to in order to furnish that House lol.

I've been waiting months for today so I could save some gold while finishing off the house ownership achievements. Just under 12,000,000 gold worth of houses purchased today.

If you're looking to collect all the new mounts added to the stables around Tamriel, it's also a good time to buy those.

Thank you for that reminder. There are still a couple of those Stablemaster mounts that I need to pick up to "complete the collection" (one of ESO's more aggravating features). Which does raise the question of whether this stuff drives engagement with the game or engagement with the rewards. There is a difference and I often think ZOS confuses one with the other.

The ESO playerbase has made it abundantly clear that all ZOS needs to do is dangle a progress bar and a majority of the players will drop everything to grind it out immediately.

Remember the “kill 1000 foes in Wrothgar/Hew’s Bane/Gold Coast over the next 90 days.”? Yeah, you know some marketing exec was very happy seeing all of the little puppets do nothing but grind for the next three days. Most people finished it before they even fixed it to count the respective subzones in the subsequent incremental. And despite all of the whinging on the forums, people still did it all in record time

If all it takes is a progress bar to get the players to jump, then be ready for more of that in the future.

Oh does each stablemaster have a different mount for sale? Is there a list somewhere of which are available where? I'm looking for horse mounts.

I'm not quite sure how making stuff cheaper for two weeks every year is bad? Unless I'm misreading here. An event that makes things more accessible should be a good thing, right? Especially because a lot of the more expensive Houses require things like Hero or Alliance Zone Explorer achieves, which require doing a lot of questing, Delves, and so on.

Which is to say, it requires people who want those Houses to engage with content. If someone wants one of those at a discount they need to do the related content if they haven't already.

Not every Stable has a new Mount, there are 17 that can be gotten from specific ones (though only one is a Horse):

This is why/how I have all the gold purchasable houses. The first year I got all the ones I could without achievements then I spent the next year finishing those to balance out the housing purchases.

Good call on the mounts. I had only grabbed one or two but might as well go get em all now.

Looking under Collections was an easy way to see which ones I didn't have, and it told where to find them. I only ride horses and it seems I already had most of the horse mounts. The 3 I don't have are flashy so not my style, so I'll just save my pennies!

We can preview them there, too.

I remembered about the houses but totally forgot about those added stablemaster mounts! Thank you for bringing that up, I am running around collecting them at a discount right now!
