could we PLEASE do away with many abilities lasting only 10 seconds? like just going through one rotation of a bar takes like 3 to 4 seconds if your fast or if you get interrupted, it could even take like 5 to even 7 seconds so by the time you get to your front bar, your basically SCREWED hardcore cause now you need to INSTANTLY pop back to your backbar to restart some of the key abilities you need which i realized is especially painful on healers as i just started making a support healer warden and HOOLLLYYY HELL..... IT IS PAIN BRO....... literally 2 of the abilites ALL healers should have being regeneration and combat prayer last 10 damn seconds meaning even on your front bar, you have to pop that CONSTANTLY and if you dare put either back bar because you need certain abilites slotted for passive effects, than WOE BE UPON YOU.......

legit, could all ablites that last 10 seconds be buffed to 20 seconds and all ablities that last 15 be buffed to 30 for ease of rotation management? i wouldnt even mind resource costs being increased and this isnt me wanting regeneration to be buffed to heal like 10k a second but just that durations themselves need to be increased ACROSS THE BOARD frankly and also on a side note, part of why i chose to do warden healer was cause i had some sneaky ideas to make myself more of a off healer focusing on debuff and buff support rather than brute force healing.

i also will admit i partially chose warden cause i also liked both the cliff razer and fetcher fly swarm abilites skill styles that made them into crows and it really sucks that the cliff razer damage buff also only lasts 10 seconds but AT LEAST that one is a clear front bar style ability but man do i HOPE that when the warden refresh comes along, that gets changed to maybe lets just say idk, be an 8m radius on self ability at base that works like the sorcerer storm ability that creates the whirlwind but maybe instead this one has a morph that make it grow in radius and apply minor maim or maybe cowardice while doing more damage but also costing A LOT more under the pretense the birds are pecking at the enemies far more fiercly and panicing the enemies and disorenting them heavily so they cant fight as well and take more damage OR another that keeps the radius and cost the same but instead gives to your allies minor resolve as well as protection under the concept that they instead focus their efforts on taking hits for your allies and less on attacking the enemy but that to do this, they cant disperse as much as the other swarm morph does cause that would be a interesting take on the fact that the warden also gives out major resolve in a at least 8m radius around them that goes up to a posisble 36m radius tho everyone chooses the one that gives you minor protection cause why wouldnt you?

    If certain buffs should work longer, mechanically they need need to cost more and/or do less damage/healing to keep up whatever kind of balance is intended.

    100%, im just saying even for someone like me with 3.5k hours, these tight ass durations are beyond evil to manage and frankly, i think after the refreshes are all done, they need to just full scale, look at ALL durations and aside from choice things like say for example, wardens blooming field or damage shields that usually are only 6 seconds and are meant to be more reactionary pops with those that provide buffs like the empowered shield morph from the sorcerer line that grants minor intellect and endurance getting the further buff to 10 seconds durations to match the more important point of them being their buffs.

    basically an ability like regeneration with i dont remember the actual amount i currently got but lets just say a flat 1000, hp per second should remain the case with they just need to change the tooltip/under the hood mechanics depending on how it works to just change it to say "you and 3 other targets heal 1000 hp every 1 second for 20 seconds" or something similar changing it to work that way with the heal scaling like many other abilities do if you wanna increase the healing per second rather than jankily making it "you and 3 other allies heal for 20000 damage over 20 seconds" cause thats just a weird way to phrase it that confuses new players and makes the under the hood functionality weird im guessing.

    I would not mind abilities lasting longer, but I think that is also why they are adding a larger focus on Channelled abilities to help ease rotations.

    Hopefully they find a great middle ground somewhere that rewards skill/dedication, but also keeps it friendly to those more casual/who have aaaaa....... real life-based responsibilities...

    and its a good change for future abilites but they really should go back and see what they can do for older ones ESPECIALLY in both the tank and healer lines of necessary abilites like regeneration and combat prayer as well as also to be fair, basically any buff from the sword and board line because while for example, i found a way around having to use combat prayer on my warden healer through the banner with minor resolve, bringing major resolve with the warden ice fortress ability, and than bring major and minor brittle on basically 100% uptime on every force blast shot from my front bar ice staff while also bringing minor protecting and endurance with the fighters guild rune ability for the group and im also thinking of getting lord warden in there too with my build also throwing out minor vulnerability, minor breach, major breach, all status effects with serpents disdain guaranteeing basically perma uptime on all status effects, major heroism on as close to 100% uptime as i could get, minor heroism, enlivinng overflow and on top of all of all of that, a CRAPTON of healing with good enough personal sustain to keep up even in more hectic add filled fights but that only happened cause i have over 3.5k hours in the game which ik isnt all that much but is enough that i can make it work when i want to but it is soo damn annoying still to make it work XD
