what are the devs currently doing to address power creep aside from overland difficulty?

what the title said basically. I've experienced tanking in vet dlc dungeons and the bosses died before most of their mechanics are even triggered, cleared a lot of Vet DLC dungeons without a healer, and so on and so forth.

I don't think that this is an elitist demand either. Even casual players are annoyed with experienced players steamrolling dungeons simply because they want to finish their daily normal.

We have challenge difficulty for overland, and vet trials remain challenging to this day. Why not address this issue for dungeons too? Idk what it will look like, perhaps another difficulty tier above veteran? But regardless, please address this as I'm sure power creep will slowly make combat less rewarding for many people, which goes against the dev's vision for combat that they made themselves.

    I'd love to welcome some updates on this area as well. The main questline and their related quest areas were given a nice boost with the Challenge Difficulty setting, I think the dungeons deserve some rethinking as well.

    I think the new Solo Dungeons are part of the answer to this. In some ways I am against the crazy amount of dps that is out there. It's definitely harmful in BG and GH. At the same time though, it should theoretically stop the gatekeepers in PvE. If people can cause 200k dps, what does it matter if several others are only hitting 70k?

    The other issue is, if we start making everything more difficult, what was the point of giving us more dps in the first place. Technically we would be losing dps and be right back where we were before all this mess started with broken Subclass.
