PvP population bars problems

Maybe we should change it so it instead it shows a % of population so it’s easier to tell how many people are in a campaign
Currently with Vengeance 1 bar could mean 10 players active or 70, with a % it would be clearer on the actual amount of players in each campaign. Vengeance seems dead even on the evening (even though there is often 2 bars)

    This has always been a need. We need to know how many players there are in total in a campaign and we need to know how many players are ACTIVELY MOVING in the campaign.

    If you have a full bar, and a full bar is 50 players, but 30 of them are just sitting around, then that is going to be a miserable experience for the remaining 20 trying to play against another full bar...

    It's always been weird to me how... close to the vest.. ZoS is when it comes to revealing the player cap numbers.

    Until it came to vengence at least - they loved to brag about how high those numbers were.. yet on the same graph they blurred out the GH numbers (even though we all have a pretty good guess at what those numbers are).

    Honestly, I think they are just embarassed to reveal how low they have had to drop the cap to keep performance in an even somewhat acceptable shape.

    I am wondering if the existence of Vengeance and the removal of other modes ended up further exacerbating problems with people afk’ing.

    If I knew it would be a 3+ hour queue to get into Cyrodiil, then I might want to find a way to not ever lose my spot once I get in. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are now more people setting autorun into a wall or using jigglers or something when they’re done to try to keep their spot the next day… which then means that fewer people are actively playing in GH, and other players who will be active are blocked from entering.

    The return of Blackreach tomorrow will at least help people still have a chance at standard-rules Cyrodiil, but I’m sure we’ll still see people who want to stay in the GH queue because they see the “overflow Campaign” is not full. In which case, the problem still exists.

    More granularity is needed for sure. I would love to see an actual number for both population and queues (when locked) for all factions. I know it’s constantly shifting, so just snapshot the info every five minutes or so and round to the nearest 10 or something.

    I was talking about the slides where they blurred it out. We had been asking for yearsd what GH cap was and it was crickets. Only recently have they revelaed what it is - was my point.
