We purchased ESO with Cyrodiil PvP, not vengeance

ZOS, vengeance isn't the game we purchased. It's something totally different that is not linked with ESO in any real way at all. Why? How could you have ever possibly thought this would work out long term?

What happened to the decade plus of "we're working on it"? Why was the only time we ever saw performance increases in Cyrodiil was right after new servers were installed?

... because it doesn't work from a technical standpoint. The reason it improved initially with new servers is because they lowered the player cap again, and the hardware was better, but then came the old problem:

It doesn't work because they introduced procs to counter the procs that they introduced to counter the procs., while allowing every HoT, DoT and their mother to stack like ants on sugar.

Cyro started out at a player cap of 900, it's down to 360, and the underlying problem still exists - the servers cannot cope with the sheer volume of calculations. They need to change the ruleset. Vengeance is no where close to my preferred choice, but to gain performance does requiring limiting all that I mentioned whether it is Vengeance or some other low proc, low stack, low AoE ruleset.
