Returning player..... what happened to dizzy swing????

Hi,

I came back to the game to try U50, and I'm at a loss for words. What happened to my Dizzying Swing animation? Does anyone use this, or is it super good and a skill issue? I don't see many posts on this forum about this for PvP or PvE. This issue greatly affects my enjoyment of the game as a stamina-based Warden player. I see most build guides advise the Blood for Blood vampire skill, but it feels worse than Rending Slashes spam. Dizzying Swing was smooth, did good damage, and was fluid. This new animation for Dizzying Swing feels awful, slow, and somehow hits like a wet noodle. Also, it's almost impossible to weave a medium or light attack. But I could be wrong, and it could be a skill issue.

    All 2-hander abilities, DK abilities, and werewolf abilities have had their animations changed. Not to scare you, but next up on the list is warden.

    I found the new Dizzying Swing motion an improvement (except for the new colorful movement lines), even getting a variation in swinging from alternating sides now. It's gotten a few adjustments over the years, I think they shortened the cast time if anything.

    Not sure how it compares to other options especially with the new Class Masteries, but I haven't seen it as a go-to PvE spammable in a long time (doesn't mean it's not usable). Maybe it's just different?

    Edit: I could see it being a little jerkier to spam repeatedly. Maybe a factor of the new animation plus being quicker. Also they smoothed out combat animations, so you may be getting light attacks in but they're more blended in with the other options.
