bro im on a warden that can perma block and heals about 10k hp a second on top of having major and minor brittle and breach, minor vul, minor maim, 34k resists, and about like 20k dps thanks to my AoEs with 52k max hp when minor toughness procs and some world bosses STILL *** annihilate my hp bar THROUGH BLOCK with the way vestige difficult just flat buffs all damage way too brain deadily cause a lot of things that are supposed to hurt but not be one shots with one example im currently fighting being duriantundur in coldharbour as an example LITERALLY ONESHOTS THROUGH BLOCK AND FULL MAGICKA with its ground AoE spikes that also spawn in like 10 *** regular ice wraiths with even just a few of those takes actually playing a bit more smart to not get smacked too hard between ability rotations let alone THAT MANY with a boss whose everything has become one shot mechincs XD
like i dont love to complain and i know that ESO is a MMO but the issue is no one has played it like that in a LONG while and im still not sure im locked to only other vestige players in my instance so when it comes to the ultimate problem, it ends up being a situation where frankly, it feels like difficulty scaling needs a MASSIVE pass over to look at things like boss mechanics like that and to adjust them in a way that doesnt make them a one shot even if you had a healer pocket healing your ass and 2 DPS behind the boss nuking everything as much as they can.
beyond that i feel when that time comes and vestige mode is made more both reasonable but also challenging in an ACTUALLY FUN WAY which is to say, not making enemies more bullet spongey and hurt more but instead, make them have more interesting mechanics and more need for teamwork to overcome the challenges they present, i think making it so everyone on any new or pre existing toon they have has to CHOOSE A DIFFICULTY and than after doing so, can only change it with a token or make it harder for free is how it should work with seperate instancing so people who play on the harder difficulties KNOW someone isnt gonna run by and one shot everything like pre U50 AND that they will be able to find groups of other players more willing to work together cause WE ALL need eachothers help to challenge things like world bosses and instances would be easier cause you KNOW everyone on the server faces the same difficulites you do.
