Linking Housing items freezes game

Has anyone else noticed since the update came out, that linking items in housing can cause the game to freeze/crash? I’m playing on Xbox Play Anywhere. Didn’t have any issues with it prior to update 50.

✭✭✭✭Not had that issue. Spent a couple of hours last night in a house linking/delinking. I'm on PC, so could be an XBox only issue.0 -

ZOS_JessicaFolsomCommunity ManagerCould those of you experiencing this on Xbox systems please let us know if you are running the game with any addons installed? Odd hitching is a pretty classic result of outdated addons, especially following a new update. It would be good to rule that out first.1 -

The only addon I use is Dolgubon's Lazy Writ Crafter. Updated and didn’t fix it unfortunately.

JaxiePie7Soul ShrivenYes. This is happening to me (and other players) on PS5. The ability to link/group objects is broken post U50. Objects that were linked have lost their child/parent mapping and trying to re-link them (press L3) completely bricks the game leaving no option except to force quit. I am not using any add-ons. Edit to add: You can link/unlink objects that have never been linked before with a brand new parent, but you cannot find existing parents nor link/unlink existing linked children without getting bricked.Edited by JaxiePie7 on 10 June 2026 14:552
